Her heartbeat starts to pick up with dull apprehension. The couple of minutes of striving to suppress the dreary pain within but still, in the end, it burst out like a free stream out of her. Tears have cascaded on her rosy cheeks as she began to sobs uncontrollably.
Rei looked up at the emotionless Muzan. A choked cry forces itself up to her throat with her blurry eyes filled with warm tears. She pounded her clench hand on Muzan's broad taut chest whilst her sobs didn't stop.
"How... How long have you been lying to me?" Her soft voice quaver between her sudden breaths whilst her dark brown eyes were in despair, asking for answers. There was a tone of disbelief in her voice. The feeling of heartbreaking betrayal conquered Rei, exactly seeing the situation was leading her into one definite conclusion.
Meanwhile, Muzan fixed his grievous, frosty gaze into her as those arcane eyes were like a bottom of freezing ocean, slowly submerging her whole body and soul to the depths of the water.
"Tell me.. Why?" She breathlessly asked feeling the air inside her chest unpleasantly coalescing inside but that pleading question still did not waver Muzan to answer it back.
She inhaled her shaking breath and pushed back the tears in her eyes. She realized if she continue to cry before a man will not utterly change anything. If she wanted to make her marriage became whole and properly working again, she must do something to fight for it in order to have her husband solely hers.
She grabs a tight hold of herself. She forced to cease her childish sobs and with the orbit of her iris, glinting with sudden bold halo, Rei looked at the male Kibutsuji steadily.
"This heart of mine will only love once and you will forever be that man my eyes and soul will continue to desire." The words escaped her involuntarily, telling Muzan the things he already knew.
She can feel the urge of her love for him was overwhelming. Rei didn't know what else could she utter just to express her alive feelings for him, but only the precise gaze of her eyes onto him was unfolding the truth of her devotion.
"Even if you will look at someone else.." She emotionally said.
"Even if you hurt me, remember this Tsukihiko, The love that I can give to you has no comparison to any other woman." She wraps her arms around his waist, securing him onto her embrace.
She wanted to make him see that she was the exclusive woman for him but nevertheless, Rei is still filled with anxiety just as she thinks the possibility of being rejected by Muzan is quite too much for her to handle.
"If I may look stupid to you now, I am only acting like this because I know I am loving you too much." She continues, insinuating all her deep affection for him.
"Don't leave. Let us fix this, Tsukihiko. I can't lose you." She slowly closed her eyes and the bead of her fresh tears were brushed on Muzan's clean white extravagant suit.
Muzan's eyebrows wrinkled together. His face went parlous solemn whilst the rolling annoyance was slowly seeping through inside his burning temper.
The obsession to claim his attention is one thing he detested the most. Whether it could be those underlying demons of him who were desperately striving to impress him in order to be bestowed more of his sacred blood or those pesky mortal women who seek to coquette him, only fraught him with overflowing disgust.
He disdained contact with any parts of another person or demon. He sees himself much more glorified to be touched by a lowly creature without his proper consent.
Muzan's face grows serious and deadly cold than already it has been. He has espied, Rei was pouring so much emotion for him and he sees it as foolish behaviour. Neither he refused to believe the words of the woman have said, but rather he just he didn't care what she has been blabbering nonsense at him.
