His dark brown eyes were glaring as if they met another calamity.
Taoshu's fair manly features reconfigure whilst he huffed in response to the prior words he have heard spoken.
"You mean you're not a human anymore?" There was a tone of clear scepticism in his voice and Ryuta answered with a resolute nod, making Taoshu hold his breath and shakily sigh.
He shook his head and flew his hand to his forehead. He firmly closes his eyes and slowly, he absorbed the unbelievable information he was receiving from his previous subordinate samurai.
"How could this be?" He mumbled almost talking to himself with his gaze dart on the tatami mat, pondering the possibilities that it could be a travesty.
To prove himself, Ryuta lifted his hand. He pierced his white fangs on his palm, tearing a part of his flesh freeing the dark red blood and letting it roll on his skin until it flows down on his arm.
Baffled by the impulsive actions of the other man, Taoshu's eyes flashed open just as he steadfast stared then observed how the deep wound on Ryuta's hand quickly heals in a couple of seconds.
He furrowed his eyebrows, lips still gaping in surprise and confusion. There was no terror in his heart but only a frantic emotion that quickly turned into instinct heed of danger.
He did not dare to spare a glance back to the two pairs of light purple eyes that were also trained on him with an unreadable expression, but one thing Taoshu was immediately put into certainty, he was facing three monsters that could be an absolute threat to his life.
Outwardly, he regain himself with a calm expression but deep within his mind he was already inwardly conducting a plan on how could he hastily eradicate the three demonic creatures before him.
The air blew aimlessly around him as a cold chill suddenly rushed into his chest. Even the frigid wind that swayed the beige fabric on the window felt augmented by its timing.
He slowly stands up and cupped his right hand on his chin. He pretence that he was trying to deliberately think of the unfolding events then he says;
"With that ability you have Ryuta, what do you intend to do next?" He asked, slowly pacing back and forth and imperceptibly walking nearer towards the displayed katana on the concrete wall.
Ryuta looked back at him with an empty expression. He espies wherever Taoshu's presence moves around the enclosed chamber, he can still clearly configure the hidden motive of the high ranked samurai man.
He knows a deeply perplexed man like Taoshu is only expected to be acting with great wary.
"I believe my ability is no longer foreign into your eyes." He trails, making the samurai man stiffen onto his stance.
"Heightened senses, unmatchable strength, fast regeneration, immense speed and keen sight." His voice smoothly enumerated whilst the samurai man remained rigid as his gaze hardened.
"Try to remember where have you seen these supernatural abilities before." He quietly told him with a laid back tone, patiently waiting for Taoshu to solve the puzzle.
Taoshu went silent for a moment. He swallowed his breath and his fist shivers with the sudden claimed rage as his face displays a sinister countenance for revenge.
Without contemplating deeply, he is already aware of who was the man Ryuta is trying to insinuate and Taoshu knows the linkage of Ryuta's power with that man; is no coincidence.
Without hesitation and with the swift movement of his hand, he snatched the unsheathe steel katana that was displayed on the wall and lunge forward to Ryuta. He briskly drew the cutting-edge blade on the centre of the male demon's face, literally flaunting to him the skills that haven't faded after the years of his long succumb.
