Y/N POV

I surprised myself and Blake, when I pulled into the restaurant parking lot just before the other woman could.

"Get destroyed!" I said happily, hopping out of my car doing a little victory dance which made Blake laugh.

"Good job Y/L/N. Lunch is on me."

I sent her a cheeky grin. "Sweet!"

We actually had a fairly long lunch. We stayed in the restaurant 2 more hours after we finished eating to talk about the movie. We scheduled some times to meet up and rehearse our scenes together, and I was already feeling excited about it.

"So...Uh," Blake started, her ears turning a bit red. I raised my eyebrows and studied her. It was not often that renowned veteran actress Blake Lively would blush or get nervous. That was my job.

"Yes..." I asked, wondering what could have her all flustered.

"How are we going to do the kiss? I want to make sure that you're...you know..comfortable and all that."

"Oh.." I said, not expecting that of all things to be what she said.

"Sorry-I..I didn't mean-" She started to back pettle, a deep blush on her cheeks, but I held up my hand which stopped her ramble.

"No, it's fine Blake. It is something we need to talk about." I gave her a reassuring smile. It felt kind of weird to assure her, especially considering she was usually the one assuring me.

"O-okay." She was still red, but she managed a relived smile. "So Paul said that it's going to happen while we are sitting on the couch in my characters living room, so we'll have to sit in positions that allow us to movie easily." I nodded at the blonde's words.

"Uh-we could go back to my place and..b-block it out there?" I suggested nervously.

"Sure, if that's alright?" Blake asked, wanting to make sure.

"Of course."

After Blake paid, we got back into our cars and drove to my apartment. Blake parked in my guest parking spot next to the one I usually use.

I lead her up to my apartment, thanking god that I'm a clean person. We rode the elevator in silence.

I unlocked my door and opened it, holding it for Blake to go in first. "Thanks." She told me. I smiled at her and walked in, closing and locking the door behind me. "Should I take my shoes off?" Blake asked, standing kind of awkwardly in my living room.

"U-uh sure, yeah-I mean, if you want." She nodded and the two of us took our shoes off before I lead her to my kitchen. "Nice place." The actress commented.

"Thanks, you want anything to drink? I-it's almost dinner time so...I could make us something in a bit?"

"I'll just have water, thanks. Uh, sure..yeah that'd be great." I flashed her a toothy grin and filled two water glasses.

"Make yourself at home." I told her, walking to the couch. The two of us sat down next to each, about three feet of space in between us.

"Hang on, let me get my script." I jumped from my seat and trotted down the hall to my bedroom.

When I came back into the living room, Blake turned from her seat and smiled at me, warming my heart. It was such a small thing, yet it made me feel like a million dollars.

"Okay so how about we start from a few lines before the kiss?" The blue eyed woman suggested. I nodded.

"I miss him." I say, more reading it than acting.

"Which one?" Blake said, doing the same thing.

"Both...I...?...I'm lonely." Blake and I were not really facing each other, so I adjusted my body a bit to help. "I think loneliness probably kills more people than cancer."

"Hey...Come here."

"Okay so Paul said that it was after that line when we kiss, so how are we going to do that?"

Blake thought for a moment. "Okay, well first I think we should move positions so we are facing each other more, and we need to already be close enough so we don't have to butt scoot to kiss."

I laughed when she said butt scoot. "It will probably help if you sit one leg crossed under the other, and you can kind of stretch the other one out onto the floor, you know?" I nodded, doing what she said.

"And then I can do one of those weird positions where I lean back into the couch and like, cross my right leg over my left one, which is bent at a 45 degree angle instead of stretched out." The taller woman moved into the position she described and scooted closer to me, so that her bent knee almost rested in my lap.

"Is this okay?" She asked, looking into my eyes. I could feel my ears heat up, but I nodded.

"Alright, so from the fact that I say 'come here', I'm assuming I initiate the kiss. "So maybe I'll use my right hand and cup your face or move your hair or something, and then kind of move it to the back of your neck?"

"Yeah, that makes sense." I agreed. "Okay, so do you want to take it back from the same line and just see how it feels? We don't have to kiss, or anything, just kind of do the movements that we have so far?"

"Yeah, sure." I started from the same line as before, and this time, the scene, even though we weren't really acting, felt much more intimate. I could feel Blake's minty breath tickle my face. She was so close to me, and it was hard to stay focused on the task at hand and not just start making out with her.

When Blake said her last line before the kiss, she did as she described and moved her right hand up to cup my face, rubbing her thumb along my jaw, before her hand went more to the back of my neck and gently pulled my face closer to her own. Our lips were merely inches apart, and I felt disappointed when she stopped.

"Does that work?" She asked, pulling her hand away. "Yeah, I really like that."

"So do you want to rehearse this more and wait to do the kiss when we shoot the scene? Or would you like to practice the kiss as well?"

I played with my fingers out of nervous habit. "Uh..i-it's up to you." I shrugged, not able to meet her eyes.

"How about we wait until we film? You know because by then we'll have our characters down and our lines memorized, so it can be a more natural, spur of the moment thing?" I thought that what Blake said made a lot of sense to me.

"Yeah. sounds good. What do you want for dinner?"
