yoongi wanted to tear his hair out.

he sat in his company office, wanting nothing more than to go home and take a long, hot, shower. stacks of paperwork crowded his desk, laptop open to reveal more ungodly work he knew he needed to finish. the inked numbers on the sales sheet in front of his eyes seemed to daunt him, and growled before pushing it away, frustrated.

he spun around and faced the window overlooking seoul, sighing and running his hands over his face. yoongi knew your last how in seoul was tonight, and he couldn't focus all day because of it. his mind wandered, an impossible task to keep his mind on work when he was going to see you again tonight.

would your outfit be the same?

would you see him?

what was your act going to be like?

"yoongi-ssi!"

yoongi startled out of his thoughts, abruptly spinning back around, surprised by the voice. eunri, yoongi's secretary, stood in the doorway.

"sorry yoongi-ssi, but you have an appointment marked in your schedule in 45 minutes, i just came in here to remind you." eunri smiled and bowed, and as soon as she was gone yoongi sprang up, closing his laptop and getting his bag.

your show! finally, yoongi thought, more than ready to escape the confines of his office and go to the circus. yoongi drove home as fast as he could, tapping his fingers against the wheel. he doesn't remember the last time he was so excited for something like this. as soon as he got home he rushed into his house, checking his watch to confirm he had time for a shower.

after a brisk, hot shower, yoongi threw on a navy sweater and black jeans, slipping a beanie over his head as well. He grabbed his phone and checked the time.

10 minutes.

after stressing over his hair and appearance for the next 10 minutes yoongi heard a honk outside, and excitedly grabbed his coat. he opened his door and saw a familiar silver car, and locked up his house before walking towards the vehicle. yoongi stepped into the car and immediately saw all of his friends shit-eating grins.

"shut it." yoongi hissed to seokjin, who just chuckled with the rest of the group. the car ride was mostly silent again, save for jeongguk who was basically having a private concert in the passenger seat.

upon reaching the familiar clearing of trees, yoongi unconsciously smiled, and namjoon nudged his arm teasingly. yoongi just nudged him back and looked back out the window. when the car finally stopped and the friends piled out, all it took was one look at the blue and white tent for yoongi's nerves to set on fire. the four walked to the entrance of the tent, despite how excited they actually were.

after namjoon pointed out reasonable seats, they sat down and prepared themselves for the show. yoongi figured he could get used to the smell of sawdust.

.

"holy shit.." you breathe as you peek out from behind the backstage curtains, and jimin walks up from behind you.

"what?" he asks, tying the last of the laces on his outfit.

"he came!" you laughed, and jimin's face immediately lit up. you both poked your heads through the fabric and your eyes instantly found yoongi's body. why did he look so good? he was literally wearing a sweater. you bit your lip to keep a dumb smile from breaking out on your face and headed back to the makeup vanity.

you couldn't put a pin on why you were so happy. it could have been the fact that a total stranger accepted your request, or that yoongi was hot as hell, or maybe because nobody had really looked at you that way before. jimin surprisingly stayed quiet as you finished your makeup and hair, jimin doing the same to himself.

hoseok informed the troupe that first acts were going out in five just as your were applyng the last of your lipstick. you turned to jimin and smiled, and he just cocked an eyebrow suggestively.

"his friends are hot as fuck though." jimin blatanty said, and you rolled your eyes before lining up behind daejin. "what?" he laughed as he saw your incredulous look, his voice fading as hoseok's boomed through the arena.

showtime.
