"WE DIDN'T STAB him!" Sweet Pea slammed his fist on the table. Sheriff Keller rolled his eyes and sat back down. A few of the Serpents were chained to a desk inside an interrogation room after being hauled in by the cops for stabbing Dilton Doiley. "And Kiara had nothing to do with this! She wasn't involved in the fight."

"Someone stabbed that boy and until one of you comes clean, you're all stuck here," Tom informed them.

"What if he stabbed himself?" Kiara said. "I saw him stab himself in the leg!"

"And why would I believe you?" The Sheriff asked. Tears were forming in his eyes as well as Kiara's.

"I'm many things, dad, but I'm not a liar," Kiara whispered.

Kiara sat with the rest of the Serpents while they discussed the events of the other night. Sweet Pea was standing right beside her and Fangs was showing the group a pipe bomb diagram.

"Nice article your girlfriend's mom wrote," Sweet Pea said to Jughead, who had just walked over to the Serpents.

"Yeah, I saw that. Dilton Doiley said he was stabbed when a bunch of you guys jumped him?" Jughead questioned.

"Idiot stabbed himself, Jug, and with his own knife," Kiara replied.

"And we didn't jump him, there was a fight; Bulldogs versus Serpents," Sweet Pea clarified. "And you see this?" He pointed to the left side of his face; covered in bruises and cuts from being slammed into the cement by Archie. "Your boy Andrews gave it to me. Just before his girlfriend shot a gun into the air."

"What?" Jughead gasped. "Oh my god, why? Why were you even fighting them?"

"We were getting Kiara out of that nutcase's house," Fangs stated.

"And of course, Northsiders got off scot-free," Sweet Pea rolled his eyes. "The rest of us were hauled in by the police."

"It's payback time," Fangs added.

"What are you guys talking about?" Jughead grumbled.

"This!" Sweet Pea motioned to the paper on the table. "Fogarty's cousin served in the Army. He's gonna build us something."

"We'll do it after hours, but it'll shut the Riverdale register down once and for all," Fangs shrugged.

"A pipe bomb?" Jughead scoffed. "You think blowing up a building is going to make things better?"

"Can't get any worse," Sweet Pea shrugged.

"Yeah, Sweet Pea, it can," Jughead corrected. "Let me talk to Archie. Let me figure this out-"

"Man, that's your answer for everything; talk and more talk," Sweet Pea stood up and walked over to him. "We don't even know who you stand with; us or them? You can't be half a Serpent." He walked past Jug and the Serpents followed him, except for Toni.

Sweet Pea took Kiara's hand and brought her to his motorcycle, away from where the group was headed. He leaned on the front and crossed his arms over his chest. Kiara sat on the seat and nervously played with the rings on her fingers.

"Can we talk about us?" Sweet Pea asked.

"What do you mean, Sweet Pea?" Kiara whispered.

"I like you, Kiara." He turned around and looked into her eyes. "I like you a lot and I'm hoping you like me back."

"I'm sorry," She sighed then took a deep breath. "Trust me I wanted to break up with Pitbull but I didn't want him hurting Kevin." She smiled sadly and looked up at him. "But now that I'm not with him anymore?"

"We could be something?" He smiled.

He placed his hand on her cheek and she nodded. He bent down and kissed her. Their lips moved in sync and they smiled through the bliss moment. Sweet Pea's tongue found its way into her mouth before he picked her up; she wrapped her legs around his torso and ran her hands through his luscious black hair.

Sweet Pea hopped off his motorcycle after Kiara and wrapped an arm around her shoulder. He placed a kiss on her temple then took her hand and walked into the Whyte Wyrm with her. The second they stepped inside, he let go and went back to being the coldhearted guy he was seen as. Kiara went over to Toni as Sweet Pea and Tall Boy started playing pool a few yards from where the girls sat.

"So, you and Sweet Pea?" Toni teased playfully. She had seen them come in holding hands and was not about to let it slide. "I totally ship it."

Kiara giggled and played with her fingers. "Um, I think we're going somewhere? Like we're becoming something more than just roommates?"

"I could see it coming a mile away, Kiara," Toni smiled. "I'm happy for you guys! I just think that maybe you shouldn't make it too obvious in front of the older Serpents cause they might think Sweet Pea's weak."

"What do you mean?"

"Sweet Pea got into a fight with Tall Boy about a week after you came and Tall Boy won. He told Sweet Pea he had gone soft for you and that he'd eventually betray the Serpents because of it."

"Huh," Kiara nodded.

"I think this Northsider's lost," Sweet Pea laughed as Jughead walked in wearing his Serpent jacket.
