Kiara hadn't gone home the night she told Sweet Pea everything and instead slept in his bed with him. They went to school and Sweet Pea stayed with her as much as he possibly could.
However, it was now time for Kiara to go into her house and she was terrified.
"I'm so sorry," Sweet Pea whispered as he hugged her a few yards away from the Russo house. "Call me if anything happens and I'll come get you okay?" "Okay," She replied. He bent down and she gave his lips a soft peck before saying goodbye and going inside.
Her bio dad was waiting for her in the kitchen. "Where were you last night? Why didn't you come home?"
"I slept over at Cheryl's cause we had math homework that we wanted to do together," She lied. "I would've called to tell you but we fell asleep working and we're almost late getting to school this morning. Sorry dad."

Kiara cried in her bed after taking countless showers and trying to watch Friends to clear her head. She wanted to call Sweet Pea but she knew her bio dad wouldn't hesitate to murder him if he found out, and she knew he would find out. So, she laid awake and in tears all night, silently praying the monster in the bedroom a couple doors away would die in his sleep.

Carlo drove Kiara to school the next day and noticed the way she was walking in pain. Carlo was Mr.Russo's right hand man but he knew what Enrico was doing was just wrong.
"Kiara, do not say anything to Enrico about what I'm gonna tell you, okay?" He said, she nodded. "You need to get away from him. I know he's very powerful and it's almost impossible to keep him in prison. But, there's one person who would be able to keep him there; Hiram Lodge. I know his morals are similar to Enrico's but he values family and will help you, you have to talk to him okay? You know Veronica, talk to her and get help."
She thanked him before getting out of the car and meeting Sweet Pea at the door.
"How was last night? You didn't call so I'm hoping everything went well?" He asked, gripping her upper arms gently.
