👾⚽️⚾️Kayden's POV⚾️⚽️👾

I stood in the middle of the road, calling out someone's name. I had blood all over my hands, and my face was streaked with tears. For some reason, I couldn't make out what I was saying. My knees collapsed and I knelt down, face in my hands, and I was crying even harder when my elbows hit the ground. I made out a body underneath me. She had long black, hair, and she was hugging me, smiling. Suddenly, I heard her voice. "Good-bye, Kayden. Promise me, forever?"

"No, no! Courtney, please, don't leave me! P-please.... I-I need you. P-please." My voice came.

I jerk awake. I was shivering uncontrollably and my hair was slick with sweat. What was that dream all about?

I glance at my watch. It was 4:37 am. Although I might have needed more sleep, I decided to wake up anyways. Quickly taking a shower, I walk downstairs and whip up some cereal and milk. After that, I get onto my new Razor scooter and scooters all the way to Courtney's house. Even though I knew that she wouldn't like it if I woke her up this early, I still knocked on her door.

I sit down on the step right before the door, guessing that it would be hours before she actually opened that door of hers. Instead, the door opened immediately. I jumped up. "Courtney! Why are you up so early?!"

She shrugs. "I could ask you the same thing."

I nod. "Waddya wanna do today?"

"Same as yesterday." She replies. Then she starts snickering.

"What?" I ask.

"It's weird.... Seeing your face.... It... Falters.... Suggest.... Yesterday..." She says between laughs. I blush, starting to understand the exact reason why.

"Anyways, come on in." Courtney invites. I take off my shoes and step in. I almost get lost in her huge house again. "What's with this getting lost thing?" I voice my thoughts.

Courtney shrugs and leads me into the kitchen. We sit down and awkwardly stare into space for a few minutes. "So...?" She breaks the silence.

I didn't know what to say. So, bit by bit, I told her about my dream.
