I stare after Courtney. Having nothing to do, I just stand up and put on my shoes. I grab my iPad and start to play Geometry Dash.
*an hour later*
I walk back on school campus to find Courtie cleaning up our mess from this morning. "Hey," I say.
"Hi," she says back halfheartedly. "You're back."
"Well, duh!" Courtney doesn't even look up. I placed my hand on her shoulder. "Hey. Is something wrong?" Courtney looks up suddenly and smiles, but I can tell that it wasn't real.
"No, nothing is wrong! I was just thinking." She replies.
