MICHEAL POV
"Die—"

"DO NOT SAY THAT NAME!"

"Where have you been?" I ask.

"Babe! Who is it?" Amara shouts from the living room.

"You have a guest? I gotta go!" he says as he pulls his hat down and start leaving.

"But can I at least have your contact info?"

"¡No! ¡No me llamas, yo te llamo!" he adds as he drives off in an old car. It didn't even have a license plate.

Why is he driving this?

"It was no one," I say as I sit back next to her.

"Um...okay."

"Dad, I totally know what I'm buying to decorate my room and I've chosen the second biggest room. But for now, I gotta go before ma starts trippin'. It was nice to meet you, Amara."

"The pleasure was mine," she returns as she smiles.

"Bye, dad! Love you!" he says as walking out.

"Drive safe and kiss your mom for me!" I shout.

He was gone and Amara and finished what we started.

.........

Because there was an emergency at the Foster Home and Arnold left early for work, Alex practically begged me to drop the kids at school. I arrived at the house and honked the horn causing them to come out.

"Morning Uncle Micheal!" Aziel greets as we do our handshake.

Strangely and disrespectfully, Egypt entered the car without saying a word to me.

"I see someone left their manners inside. Good morning to you too Egypt," I say.

"Good morning," she mumbles.

"Ok, talk to me. What's wrong?" I ask.

"You didn't show up to my tea party and you pinky promised," she says disappointingly.

Shit! I forgot.

"Oh shoot! Baby, I'm sorry. It totally slipped my mind because I was moving into my new house and then a friend came over so we watched a movie together," I honestly tell with incomplete information.

"Miss Caroline?" Aziel asks.

"Um...yeah. But Egypt, this Saturday we can have our own tea party at my place and, we can buy a new tea set if you like," I say.

"Really? Cool!" she exclaims.

"I'm picking you guys up Saturday so we can go shopping to decorate your bedrooms at my house. So now, you'll have 2 bedrooms! And, there's also someone else I want you guys to meet."

"Who?" Aziel asks.

"My son."
..........
After dropping the kids at school and receiving a million kisses from Amara I was about to spend the day doing nothing since I was still waiting on a response from the college I applied but Diego somehow got my number and asked me to meet up with him.
