Dabi growled when the large wing of his best friend obstructed the view of the bright sun above him.

"Oi, are you sleeping ? Don't you think you're burnt enough to expose yourself to the sun ?" the winged young man said with a playful voice as he shook his feathers in front of Dabi, some of them purposely hitting his face.

Dabi growled in annoyance once again and turned his back to him with a sigh.

"Ugh, shut up already, pigeon." he said, totally bothered by his bird looking friend.

Dabi sat up as he was laying on the grass seconds ago, just chilling until he got interrupted by Hawks. The two teenage boy were in a park not too far from their school, nonchalantly skipping class.

"Hopefully (y/n)'s not gonna sermon us on how we're not supposed to skip class and shit, that brat." Dabi complained, whipping the grass off his back.

"Just you wait when I tell her you called her a brat." Hawks said with a smirk, his hand behind his head on the floor and his eyes closed.

"Tch, snitch."

"Fried face."

"Flying hoe."

"Burned bitch."

"Duck."

"Assho- wait did you just call me a duck ?" Hawks asked, dumbfounded, lifting his head to stare at a laughing Dabi.

Hawks put back down his head comfortably, mumbling curses at his friend.

"Well, well, well. What do we have here ?"

Both their eyes widened at the sound of this way too familiar voice and they gulped.

"If that ain't Dabitch and Chicken-man." the girl said with a grin, hands on her hips as she stared at the boys' back.

They both took a jaded face at the nicknames and turned around slowly.

"I told you she'd found us here you idiot." Dabi sighed turning back to Hawks accusingly.

"Hey you're the one that followed without a word, jerk !"

"Shut up I'll burn you."

"I'll slice you before you get the chance."

"I'd like to see you try, parakeet."

"Would you- STOp with the bird-kind names, it's not even funny jackass !" Hawks growled, visibly annoyed by the ravenette.

Dabi was about to argue but someone talked before he could.

"I can't believe you guys are skipping again." they both turned around and (Y/n) made her way to them, sitting in between the two with a desperate sigh.

"You're not going to drag us back to the school ?"

"Not this time. I'm skipping too, doesn't hurt to spend some times with my best friends, right ? I'm also kinda sad you didn't invite me."

Both boys smiled secretly, looking at her as she laid on the grass with a relief sigh.

Hawks, Dabi and (y/n) were friends since quite some times now. They were the most promising trio of UA and the most popular with their close friend Mirko. They hang out a lot and spend most of their times together during training, school or even at home watching movies. An old friendship that doesn't seem to fade to this day.

"So, why are you so nice for today, (y/n)-boo~ ?" Hawks asked with a flirty voice, lying down on his side beside her, his hand holding his head.

"You're way too close for my liking, Keigo." (Y/n) said with a yawn not even looking at him.
