"Shit I'm late !"

I grabbed my stuff in a hurry, stumbling in the middle of my living room, my dog barking at me for no reason.

"Hey don't scream at me, I'm already panicking !" I growled as I raised from the floor, taking my jacket and opening the front door.

"Alright, I'll be back tonight just don't make a mess in here till I come back, get it, just be a good dog !"

My dog bent his head to the side in question and I sighed desperately. I left and locked the door behind me, didn't bother to take the elevator and just took the stairs hurriedly.

First day on my new job and I was already in a rush. I hope this doesn't get me fired on the first day.

When I finally made it to my car, I started the engine rapidly and drove to the hospital, where I was going to be working for the following months. I was so excited the day before that I couldn't sleep. That kind of explained why this morning I woke up kind of late. I mean, very late.

I got out of the car once I parked in the reserved parking lot and walked quickly toward the entrance.

I was walking way too fast and as I was looking for my phone in my purse, I ran right into someone.

"Oh shi-"

"Hey watch where you're fucking going." The person snarls.

I looked up at the wall of a guy I just hit and his atypical look made me slightly raised my eyebrows. He looked down at me with disdain, "Oh s-sorry.." I said.

"Tch." He walked away the hands in his pocket and I frowned.

"Asshole." I muttered when I was sure he was far behind.

I finally made my way into the hospital and hurried at the reception desk.

"Hi hello, uhm, I work here I mean it's my first day, I know I'm pretty late and all but.." I make a brief pause trying to find my words, "my uhm, grandma got hit by a car this morning so.."

The receptionist looked up from her computer and stared at me, her face contorting in concern, "oh my god that's awful, is she okay ?"

I slapped myself internally for that terrible excuse that she seemed to have swallowed and I stuttered, "y-yeah she's fine don't worry haha." I assured, scratching the back of my neck nervously.

She sent me a reassured look and nodded, "I just need your name please then I'll show you where you can go change."

I gave her my name and I smiled awkwardly, waiting as she tapped on her keyboard.

She nodded and pointed a back door where I could put my stuff down and change myself into my work attire.

I had already got my schedule for the day and I the instructions on what I would be doing for now ; I'll just be checking on patients and help them at any needs.

When I was done changing, I took out my schedule and looked for my first patient, "So, who's diaper am I gonna change today ?" I mumbled to myself.

My finger on the paper followed my schedule to land on the name of the patient I was to assist for the following hour: Rei Todoroki.
