I quickly shoved some of the foul smelling mushrooms into Stiles' mouth, then moved to Scott. I continued until all of my infected pack mates had some of the healing tea in their mouths, praying this would work. I remembered her visits, and how she always brought the horrible tea with her. My mother loved it, but I could never figure out why, it tasted horrible. Satomi always insisted that it had extreme healing capabilities. It still wasn't worth the god awful taste according to my teenage self.

I moved back to Stiles quickly, watching and waiting. His heartbeat was getting stronger and faster, and I nearly shouted with happiness when it reached its familiar elevated pace. He was going to be alright. A minute later everyone started to stir, their eye lids fluttering open. I watched as his liquid honey irises peeked out at me and a huge smile broke across my features.

"Oh thank god!" I exclaimed, pulling Stiles into my lap again as I kissed his cheeks repeatedly.

"Mmm- we should do this more often," Stiles mumbled around my kisses. I pulled back and glared at him.

"No- no we shouldn't," I said in an aggravated tone. What an idiot.

"But I like this Derek, showering me in desperate little kisses," he said easily. I glared harder. I disregarded my mates ridiculousness and looked around at the rest of the pack.

"Is everyone okay?" I asked with concern.

"Yes- thanks to you!" Scott said, giving me a grateful smile. "How did you know that would work? I don't even know what we had!"

"I just had a feeling," I said, shrugging off his praise. I don't like being the centre of attention.

"Was this another attack?" Kira asked wearily, rising to her feet.

"There's only one way to find out," Stiles said, marching back towards the door leading into the schools basement. "Will you let us out, Batman?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at me.

I raised a brow right back. "I thought you were Batman." I pointed out.

"Dude! You've got a secret underground vault and 117 million dollars. You're totally Batman!" He said, then he wiggled his eyebrows and sang. "I'm dating Batman!" With a little girlish squeal.

How on earth did I end up with this one? I wondered, as I made my way to the locking mechanism. I stuck my claws inside and twisted, following the teens back into the school. I kept the jar of Satomi's tea clasped firmly in my hand just in case we needed it. We got upstairs to see the CDC packing everything up. What? We looked at each other in confusion. Scott moved to find Mrs. Martin and I felt Stiles wander towards the locker room. Where is he going? Before I could follow him, Scott's conversation caught my attention.

"It just- disappeared!" Lydia's mom was saying to Scott. "Everyone who was infected is completely fine now. I don't understand, but I'm glad it's over."

I caught the scent of the Winchester's and their angel, and they came around the corner in cheap suits. They went to Mrs. Martin immediately and began questioning her, after flashing their FBI badges. I snorted. That's ballsy. I thought. I suddenly felt Stiles panic and my head snapped around. Scott's head moved at the same time and we both took off after Stiles scent.

We found him in the locker room, with a man standing in front of him, a gun pointed at Stiles' head. Uncontrollable, white hot rage filled my body at the sight of my mate at end of the barrel. I growled to get the mans attention, and as soon as he looked away from Stiles the quick fox snatched the gun. I tackled him to the ground and punched him, repeatedly. How dare he threaten my mate. I continued to rain blows down on his face, the anger controlling my actions. I felt Scott and Stiles pulling me off of him, but I struggled under their hands. I wanted to kill him. I would kill him.
