"You kidnapped her?!" Derek demanded, in both disbelief and anger if that's possible.
"It was our only option!" I defended, throwing my hands up. "Newsflash- she's not a kid- not kidnapping. Besides! That place is a hell hole. I'm sure she'll be grateful for the mini vacation!" That only earned me a death glare, but I refrained from shrinking back into my seat. I may be one of the alphas... but sourwolf could still make me pee my pants with that look.
"You do realize your father is the sheriff, right?!" Derek raged. I just rolled my eyes at him, feeling his anger through the bond like an uncomfortable heat against my skin.
"Wait really?! I had no idea," I said sarcastically. My sourwolf just flared his nostrils at me in exasperation.
"Does anyone else realize that we have school tomorrow?" Isaac chirped, pretending to inspect his nails.
I face palmed and groaned. "But I was so enjoying my vacation away from Harris and Finstock!"
"I'm gonna tell coach you said that," Isaac chuckled. I shot him a death glare of my own.
"You wouldn't," I frowned. He shot me a smirk.
"It would be prefect punishment for kidnapping someone," Derek added while he continued to drive like a madman back towards the loft.
"That would mean detention. Which would mean staying late after school. Which would mean- less Stiles time for Der-bear," I emphasized. Derek just rolled his eyes.
"Good riddance," he scoffed. My hand flew to my chest in mock hurt as he slammed the car into park and stalked towards the loft across the cracked pavement. Oh he's pissed.
I scrambled out of the backseat in the most uncoordinated way possible. "But Der," I whined. "You don't know what Coach is like! He's-," I stopped short when he cut me off.
"I know exactly what he's like. Except Coach loved me," he smirked cockily. Sometimes I forget Derek went to Beacon Hills, and not that long ago. I could practically see the cocky jock in my mind. Ugh.
"First of all... he does love me! Second of all... he's grouchier than you remember," I said, ticking off my fingers. "And third! Don't you dare," I finished, turning to Isaac and flashing my alpha eyes.
"Stiles," Derek scolded, his eyebrows lowering unhappily.
"What?" I scoffed. "Desperate times call for desperate measures."
"Why are you desperate?" Scott piped in, stepping out of Lydia's car with the other banshee in his arms again. Her name... what was her name? Ahh- Meredith. Should be easy to remember. Just think Grey's.
"Because I'm gonna tell coach tomorrow that Stiles enjoyed his vacation- particularly because he got away from Finstock," Isaac taunted with a sly grin.
"Oh god, we have school tomorrow," Scott breathed.
"If your arms weren't full, you'd totally be facepalming right now," I grinned, heading towards the loft after my mate.
"You mean full of the girl you kidnapped?" Derek shot over his shoulder.
"Dude, she's not a kid," Dean defended. "So it can't be kidnapping."
"Thank you!" I emphasized, throwing my hands around wildly.
"Dean," Sam scolded, rolling his eyes at his older brother.
"Stupid twins," I heard Derek grumble under his breath.
"You know- I'm not human anymore! I can hear you!" I called ahead to him.
