"Hey Jug," Betty said as they walked down the street.
    "Yeah?"
"Did you remember me when we saw each other again?"
"Not initially, but once I was awake I did. I remember one day you came over, it was right after Jellybean was born. You came to visit Ronnie and you were holding JB, and feeding her, you were paying so much attention to her, I don't think you noticed I was there. I wasn't for long because I went over to Fang's house, but I never forgot that. Why?"
"I was talking to Vee a while ago and she reminded me about spin the bottle. That was right before Jellybean was born too."
    "Yeah, " Jughead laughed.
"It's weird I didn't remember you though. I thought about you for most of grade eight."
Jughead smiled, grabbing her hand. "I thought about you every day since I met you. Up until a few years ago when we graduated at least."
"When I moved in with Sweetpea, "
"Ya, you stopped coming around after. Veronica started going over to your guy's place. I guess I just kind of...forgot about you."
"I wish I had hung out with you before I dated Sweetpea. Maybe I wouldn't be so..."
    "Broken?"
    "Crazy."
    "You are not crazy."
    "You sure about that?"
   "One hundred percent."
Betty grinned up at him and he squeezed her hand. "Thanks, Juggie."
"Do you want to go on a date? A real date, like go out and be uncomfortable while eating food, or the movies. Then we go back to my house and sit on the couch, all tense and-" Betty interrupted him with a kiss.
    "I would love that."

Betty walked out if her room in a low cut, cropped yellow jacket and black mini skirt with black knee-length heeled boots and a small yellow handbag.

    "Wow, " Jughead breathed.
"Cheryl dressed me. She said what I was wearing made me look like a principal." Betty laughed.
    "Ready for our date?"
    "Yep."

"Madam, " Jughead said offering Betty his arm.
"Sir, " she replied, linking their arms and walking out of the house.
