Part 4

I walked downstairs, still feeling scared for my life. When I got to the kitchen/dining room, everyone was staring at me.

I stared back for a little bit, then I went past Mary whispering, "Would the closest library be open right now?"

"Yeah, there's one just two blocks down." She whispered back.

"Thanks." I started heading for the front. Before I could get out, I heard Cassidy ask,

"Melissa, you gonna eat? The pancakes are delicious!"

"Not hungry at the moment... if you need me, I'll be at the library." I said as I walked out the door. Once I got to the street, I headed for the library.

Back in the house, everyone was looking at each other like 'What's up with her?'

"Has she ever acted like that?" Mary asked Cassidy.

"No, never seen her just walk out the door like that." She replied.

"If that's not her usual thing, there's something bugging her," The Ninth Doctor said as he got out of the chair. "I'll head after her and see what's going on." He went out of the door and walked in the same direction I went.

At the library, I had just walked in through the main doors. I went over to the desk where the librarian was working. "Hello, what can I do for you?" She asked.

"Are there any books here about the war a few years back and the legend surrounding it?" I asked.

"Yes, there is. I'll show you." The librarian got out from behind her desk and walked to a shelf to the left of her. I followed after her. She showed me where the specific books were and grabbed one from the shelf entitled, "The Cyber War and The Mysterious Big Ben Legend". "This book has things on both topics. Feel free to have a read." The librarian said.

"Thanks," I said as I grabbed the book from her. I walked around the library with the book in a bag the librarian gave me until I found an empty table.

'That librarian really sounded like Mrs. Dalton...' I said to myself. I was there for around two hours just looking through that book, learning all I could about The Cyber War and the legend surrounding it. This is just a summary of the book, which was about four hundred pages.

The Cyber War began on December 3, 2010. The Earth was at war with a species from a different planet, the Cybercats. Surprisingly, against their nature, they didn't turn everyone to be like them. 1/16 of the population was turned into Cybercats. The remaining population was spared, able to do whatever they did before the Cybercats came. Although, every other day, close to sunset, the Cybercats came and eliminated anyone who was roaming the streets at the time, more of the homeless cats were killed on those days than cats who lived in their homes. The Cybercats were housed in a base just outside of London, England. There were three rebellions that took place during this time. The first was very disorganized. The leader of this rebellion is unknown to this day. They never made it inside the main base. The second rebellion was a little more organized and led by a 37-year-old named Noah Jacobson. He had about six hundred cats following him. They had managed to get inside the base, but most of them never made it back out. Noah and about thirty cats survived. The third, most successful, and most devastating rebellion was on January 20, 2011. This rebellion was led by two brave queens, Melissa Murack and Cassidy Wilson. They led three thousand cats into the Cybercat bases, shut down their Cybercat making facilities, and blew up the four bases around London. They had killed 20,000 Cybercats in the whole of the rebellion. The tragedy was that, while blowing up the main Cybercat base, Melissa, Cassidy, and two thousand cats lost their lives in the explosion. There was mourning around the globe for their loss, but the Cybercats still live on. (The book had an entire read-through of the entirety of the 3 rebellions, but for the sake of time and paper, they have been shortened to the summary... remember, the book was four hundred pages.)
