"Wow! Big Ben's huge!" Cassidy said and an echo repeated her voice."How far does this thing reach?!"

"Seems to go quite high... I can't even see the top." I replied.

"So, what needs to be proven in order for the legend to be true?" The Tenth Doctor asked.

"Seeing if this place is bigger on the inside," I replied.

"How do we prove that? We can't even reach the top." Cassidy asked. We stood quiet for a moment... then something 'hit' me. I looked on my paws and just before the blueish socks, there seemed to be something glowing on me... and I could see red popping through. I looked on both of my sides and seemed to form.. wings? Suddenly, in front of me, was the black gem again.

'Of course...' I said to myself. 'An alien like no other before it... now the legend makes total sense.' I didn't run away from the gem because I knew that this was what it was trying to lead me to for the second and third times it popped up. As the magic in the gem got stronger, the details on the red and the wings started looking more real, like I've been hiding them for all these years. The magic started lifting me in the air.

Everyone else finally realized something was happening. "Melissa, what is that gem doing to you?!" Cassidy yelled.

"Revealing more about me," I replied. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Garrick staring at me like he was trying to eat my soul... He knew me somehow, but I couldn't remember. I was about halfway towards the top when the process that the black gem was doing was over... but it left me in the air! Just before the black gem let me go, it came up to my forehead and did something that seemed to spark past memories, including how to use the wings. I started flapping my wings and when I had some lift, the black gem let me go. I felt so excited! I was flying! I started flying around the place, getting used to the wings, and for the joy of it.

"Holy mackerel, Melissa!! You're flying!!" Cassidy yelled. As I was flying around, Cassidy was jumping around like a maniac because of what was happening. Both of the Doctors were smiling at me, though the Tenth looked more excited. Garrick was merely smirking at me, not happy but jealous or upset. I had flown around for fifteen minutes then I landed back down, but landed head first. Cassidy and the Doctors ran over to see if I was alright, but I saw Garrick laughing...

"Melissa, are you okay?" Cassidy asked as I got off of my head and folding the wings.

"Fine, just need to work on the landing gear..." I replied.

"Goodness, I never knew you were an alien!"

"Just kept it hidden all these years.."

"What are you exactly?" The Ninth Doctor asked.

"I'm actually a hybrid, so multiple species are in my blood," I replied.

"Like what?" The Tenth asked.

"Let me think... (how do I put this in terms of percentage?)... to put it in better terms, 50% human... 25% other species..."

"What's the other 25%?" Cassidy asked.

"Timelord," I replied.

"You can't be serious!" Both Doctors said.

"Oh, I'm serious."

"Wow! This whole time I've been best friends with an alien..." Cassidy said.

"Yep."

"How did you not realize until now?" The Ninth Doctor asked.

"I've just had it in the back of my mind all these years... some seemed forgotten... That black gem that's been following us around.. it was my family's prized possession, passed down through generations. They always called it the Black Emerald. I do remember seeing it occasionally at school, but I always thought it was an illusion... got proven wrong there. What the Black Emerald was doing to me up there was revealing my true form. That gem has been keeping the form hidden inside it all these years... as well as all the memories from when I was younger...... but enough about me, let's get going trying to prove this legend." Cassidy and the Doctors were just staring at each other, still in shock... Yes, of all people, I'm the alien and another Timelord, and a hybrid at that. Garrick was still staring at me, like a jealous person trying not to show... I could feel that he was not who he was showing himself to be.
