It was 4 a.m. in the morning. The whole city was sleeping. It was quite and empty on the streets. As it should be. It's 4 a.m., come on! Kay was laying in her bed, having an amazing dream. She didn't have such a good sleep since like forever. It could have been like this longer, if a sudden rumble wouldn't have awaken her. She jumped up in her bed. She could hear that something was happening on the first floor. Kay ran towards the door and locked it. She started to move backwards, when she remembered, that she wasn't here alone.
-Ben! - she screamed to herself. Kay unlocked the door and, not thinking about her own life, ran to the stairs. She looked down. She didn't see Ben oh her sofa. Kay quickly ran down the stairs.
-Ben! Ben, where are you?! - she screamed. She ran to the noice. Kay was prepared for everything bad. She made a deep breath and ran into the little room. It was her grandchildren room. She was ready to see the murderer but to her shock, there wasn't one. She freezed. Ben was lying on the floor next to the door to the room. His whole body was shaking. He tried to stand up but failed. His arm was around his injured side. His eyes were opened. Kay could see that he was scared. She ran up to him and grabbed his head.
-Ben! Ben, what's wrong?! What is it, Ben? What is it?
She tried to hold his body to stop it from shaking. She grabbed his arms so that he won't punch anything. She started to shake his head. Suddenly, everything stopped. His body stopped shaking. Ben blinked fast and started to breath heavily. His side was hurt. He looked up and realized that Kay was holding his head and hands. She looked frightened and shocked. He blinked fast again and starred at her confused.
-Ben, oh my gosh! What...what was that?! - she asked him.
-What...what happened? - he asked her, without a clue.
Kay looked at him as he was crazy.
-What do you...what do you mean, what happened?! You fell on the floor and i found you here, next to another room! Your whole body was shaking and gerking! What was that?! - she screamed.
Ben turned on his side and attempted to get up but failed. Luckly, Kay caught him and protected from more injuries. She gently placed him on her knees to let him catch his breath.
-I...I don't know. It never happened before.
Kay looked at him with worry. She touched his forehead. He was having a fever.
-Can you get up? - she asked.
-With a little help - he replied. Kay smiled a little bit. She grabbed his arm and helped him to get up. His side was hurting. He grabbed it with his one hand.
-I don't think, you'll go to the work today. - Kay said to him, while holding him. Ben raised his eyes and starred at her confused.
-What do you mean? - he asked.
Now Kay looked confused.
-What do you mean, what do I mean?! Have you seen yourself. You can barely get up without my help!
-I'm gonna be fine, Kay! Someone must be with you all the time! Or should I remind you what happened yesterday? - he yelled back.
Kay looked at him with a little anger in her eyes. So, he'd rather die from pain than to let her get hurt? Very brave.
-Okay. As you wish. - she replied.
So, she helped him to get to her living room and placed him on the sofa. Only then she understood that his clothes were too dirty. He can't go to work like this.
-Wait here. - she said and went upstairs. Ben looked at her. Sadly, she will never know how much he wanted to stay home. But he can't let her go alone. It's too dangerous. Meanwhile, Kay opened the closet in her room. It was filled with Phil's clothes. She grabbed a suit and closed it. Kay stopped in front of the closet.
