So um..you should know that I suck at writing romance so this chapter kinda sucks. Sorry :( This is also the first love confession scene I've ever done, so bear with me.

Sophie POV

Keefe pulled Sophie out into the pastures of Havenfield.

"Where are we going? Do we have to walk a long way?" Sophie asked, worried that she'd worn the wrong shoes.

Keefe winked. "You'll see, it's a surprise." He said, pulling a blindfold out of his pocket. He quickly tied it around her head.

"Ahh, Keefe! What if I fall?" Sophie asked.

"You won't fall, Foster. I promise. Just trust me." Keefe whispered into her ear, smirking.

Sophie took a deep breath. "I do trust you, Keefe. More than anyone else in the world. "(Haha too bad Fitzy!)

Keefe's breath hitched for a moment before he continued to guide her forward.

Keefe's fingers brushed her shoulder and left tingles where he touched. Butterflies erupted in her stomach and flew around like a huge flock of birds.

She tried not to think of Keefe's charming smile or his caring personality.

She tried not to think of his teasing smirk.

Or his-

No, no I do NOT like him.

But-

"You okay there, Foster?" Keefe asked jokingly.

"Fine," Sophie answered, blushing.

"Okay..."

Keefe kept leading her forward and it took Sophie all of her focus not to trip over her feet.

Of course, she did anyways and expected to hit the floor, but Keefe caught her.

"I told you I'd catch you."

Sophie blushed.

"Just like at the ball, huh?" Keefe asked teasingly.

Sophie nodded, still blushing. "It seems like so long ago. But I remember every second of it."

"It does," Keefe agreed. "but I was pretty memorable, wasn't I?" he said, flashing his trademark smirk.

Sophie blushed.

-a few falls and smirks later-

Keefe tore off her blindfold, and what Sophie saw amazed her.

Under Calla's Panakes tree were hundreds and hundreds of candles. A blanket was laid out, covered in all sorts of Elvin foods and desserts. And in the Middle-

Sophie gasped.

Mallowmelt!

"Wow Keefe, this must've taken forever. Thank you."

Keefe shrugged. "No problem. Now let's eat!"

The two dug into the food, and when they were satisfied they leaned back and lay on the blanket together.

Keefe POV

"They're beautiful, aren't they?" Sophie asked, staring at the stars.

"Very beautiful," Keefe replied, though he was only looking at Sophie.

Sophie was the most amazing person he had ever met, and in the last few weeks he had only admired her more. She was so kind and courageous and she would do anything for her friends. He loved her so much.
