She killed her.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Four vampires, one was dead and one hunter with a bleeding hand were standing together in a forest.

The entire situation was so bizarre that I couldn't even compute the words coming from the scrawny vampire's mouth across from me.

The frowning look coming from the vamp was making me irritated. I took a moment to stop myself from walking over there and busting his nose. I didn't want to be the only one bleeding.

Yes, I did kill her. What was I supposed to do? Make friends with it?

I didn't express my thoughts out-loud however.

I was in their territory now. I couldn't act the way I normally would around these bloodsuckers. It was starting to get a little frustrating. Almost like an itch you couldn't scratch.

The young vampire rushes up to the dead body that was hungrily chasing after me moments ago.

He picks up her limp body and shakes it pointlessly before continuing to examine it.

I turn away uninterested and tear of piece of fabric from my shirt to wrap around my still bleeding hand. I look up to see Jake had been standing behind me along with Cillian. Both looked concerned.

"Are you okay? God- I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left you alone like that..."Jake looks down at my wound.

"I'm alright. Just need to stop the bleeding." I mutter to him continuing to tie the cloth around my hand.

The scrawny vamp stopped his examining and was looking straight at me. Clearly upset.

"What the fuck is the hunter bitch doing in our territory? Pieces of shit like her aren't allowed to hunt here." He was slowly losing himself just like his dead friend had minutes ago.

His eyes kept wandering to the bloody wrap on my hand.

Jake steps in front of me. "Let's not do anything rash."

He pushes Jake out of the way and lunges at me. I move slightly to the left making him fall to the forest floor. He slams his fist into the ground.

"Don't be a gobshite Trevor. The lass almost died herself." Cillian speaks up.

"Why the hell are you protecting this bitch? Don't you see she killed one of us! Who the fuck let a hunter come here?!" The vamp jumps up aggravated.

"I did." The first thing I noticed was his heavy voice.

The second was his striking green eyes. Even though we were surrounded by trees their color was somehow still highlighted.

He looked young, but still older than me; late twenties? His frame was toned but not so much that he was bulging. In fact he seemed too thin.

I was expecting to meet a vampire on steroids. A middle aged man covered in old wounds and battle scars. His put together appreance was not at all what I imagined when hearing stories of his gory victories in war.

But I could tell he was fit; fast on his feet. Being a hunter I will admit that those were the vampires trickiest to kill.

As soon as he spoke everyone went silent. I notice the angry face of the vamp falter for a second. Every vampire around me instinctively lowered their head. The way he was able to change the mood with only his presence was interesting, almost impressive.

The angry vamp looks back up to his leader; William Crowley.

I don't really know what made me so sure that the man in front of me was the one I have been hearing of all this time. Something about the cold feeling he was emanating.
