the cozy bedsheets that she had once been buried
into. her hair flung, gracefully along the tips of
her shoulders.

it was the next morning, set as dawn. as well
as her first day off. sadly, her grandmother still
had work to attend to, as vela now did not have
much time to spend with her.

vela felt regretfullness wash over her entire
body. the more she thought about it, it had been
a realization for vela that for the period of
time she'd resided at the fairchild residence,
her happiness was drained.

she had no idea how to get it back.
the thing was, she wasnt completely unhappy. her
mind was filled with empty spaces, that felt like
bubbles of air.

somehow, she still fount a way to slowly
reattach him to her body. her mind. her soul.

vela slid open the back door, her gown flowing
with the wind. she needed some air as she briefly
let her hand come in contact with the slight
chilliness.

her foot, then her whole entire body was
now touching the air. vela mildly walked around
the garden, as she admired the echoing sounds
of the birds communicating with one another.

the wet grass grazed over her angles, the
unshakable feeling owning her lower half, due
to the uncomfortable feeling.

she maneuvered her hands through the
tips of her hair; as she simply circled around one
space, completely ignoring the girl watering
plants in the corner.

"...such beautiful flowers" the woman spoke.
vela widened her eyes, the voice stunning her at
an all time high. her mind proved her wrong as
she had no idea more people would be around.

her curiousity got the best of her as she
crept around, to the base of the garden. her eyes
squinted, the physique of a girl nurturing the
plants to health was in plain sight in front of
vela.

her anxiety stopped her from moving,
as she gradually backed away; the can of paint
dropped to the ground a loud thump echoing
the entire space.

"oh shoot..oh shit" vela mumbled to
herself. the girl quickly focused her attention to
the sound; to vela. vela figured that the girl was
also a maid or worker, judging from her clothing.

"uh" the girl set down the jug of water
as she lightly smiled. she reassured vela that it
was okay and that she was in no way bothering her
