I'm a massive fan of KPOP. I have a slight obsession over some of the songs...
Example: Listening to a song called bar bar bar by Crayon Pop on replay eight times...
For me and a fellow KPOP enthusiast friend, this is normal and we'll suddenly find ourselves singing these really weird songs. Then we'll start snickering and snorting with laughter, because people are giving you these really weird looks because you were singing in a completely different language. Then some people start saying.
"What the hell was that?!"
"What planet are you from?!"
(This links slightly with Becky's point about the singing)
"What's it called?"
Now I know for the last one some people just say it out of curiosity, but for me this is suggesting that you're going to go home and search up the song, revise every part of by heart so you can sing along as well in future. Now I'm fine with that but I sometimes find it SOOO annoying!
"O.M.G! I lloovvee" They drawl the word out till the end of time "that song btdubs"
No... Just just..... No....
I also remember when people DO go and revise the song of by heart they learn every little piece of information about the band members. Then there's text slang ITS NOT THE VIRTUAL WORLD PEOPLE I'M TALKING TO YOU FACE TO FACE NOT TEXTING, NO!!!! Then Btdubs, Who invented that, seriously?!
"Hey, .... is SOO fit, Like seriously he is in league with Harry Styles and THAT'S hard to come by"
Then they'll give you this look, that I have absolutely have no idea how to describe. It's the kind of look you would expect a popular dumb girl to have in a movie such as mean girls etc. (Sorry if this is offensive but blame the movie makers not me!)
It just drives me up the wall and over!
Also did I ask you about your tastes in music?No...
Did I tell you about my tastes in music so you can interrogate me about it? Even though I wasn't trying to make any type of conversation at all?
No...
