As i walked out of the room and headed for the stairs, i could still feel Mr Jacksons...i mean Michaels eyes on me.

I turned my head and looked over my shoulder, and as i suspected, there he was, leant against his door frame, watching me.

He looked so good. His posture was relaxed. His hands in his pockets. He took his right hand out and gave me a wave so i waved back.

"Oh bella look!!..."

Before i could turn around fully, i could feel myself falling. And not the good kind either.

I tripped over the corner of the coffee table in the waiting room and put my hands out in front of me to stop myself but it wasnt enough. Here i was, in front of the most handsome god of a man, embarressed holding my ankle.

"Out..." i felt someones touch on my back. It was michaels as he finished his warning

"Oh my gosh, bella are you ok?" Michael rushed to my aid

"Jeez..." i put my head into my hands, feeling red-faced, speaking from under them

Michael grabs hold of my hand to help me up

"Im ok" i let out an awkward laugh

"Are you sure? Do you need me to call somebody? Would you like a drink of water?" He now sounded very concerned, tightening his grip around my hand and rubbing my back gently, not taking his eyes off of me

"Honestly im fine. Im used to it. This is what i get for being away with the fairies" i joked as i limped my way to a chair with Michaels support

Me and Michael both let out of a laugh The secretary looks at us both with raised eyebrows, shocked, or maybe even mild disapproval.

That was obviously now what you'd call a private joke between the two of us.

A private joke between me and my therapist? Can that even be a thing? How is this all even happening. I thought nyself a massive face palm

"A drink of water wouldnt go a miss though, if its available?" I gave him soft puppy eyes

Michael chuckled

"Of course, call someone to come get you. Ill go and fetch the water" he lay his hand on my shoulder, moving a piece of stray hair away from my face. It gave me goosebumps

I nodded and proceeded to take my phone out of my bag. I scrolled through the contact list on my phone and tapped onto Kristens name.

I put the phone to my ear and she almost instantly answered.

"Hey bella! Howd it go?" She spoke happily, sounding hopeful

"Hey, erm ill tell you later. Can you come and get me please? Ive had a bit of an accident.."

Of course as soon as that Kristen started panicking

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah course im fine nothing major. But ill need a bit of help getting to your car, ive hurt my ankle. I fell over a bloody coffee table!"

Now i can hear Kristen cackling over the mic

"That is so you! Yeah sure, ill be about 5 minutes im leaving now"

"See ya" and i hung up.

"Heres your drink" michael hands me a clear cup of what feels like ice cold water

I take it from him and put my lips to the rim of the cup

"Ah, thank you"

"So is someone coming to get you" michael still sounds concerned

"Yeah, my friend Kristen will be here in about 5 minutes she said"

"Here, lets get you up. Let me help you downstairs"

Before i could accept, he picks me up into his arms and begins to carry me towards the stairs

Wow, i wonder if he works out. I feel as light as a feather in this guys arms right now

I wrap my arms around his neck nicely, without second thought. Like it was an instinct.

I can smell his cologne. He smells so good. One of his stray curls proceeded to tickle my ear but i didnt mind. His hair smelt like heaven. This whole god damn man did.

He carried me down the stairs and when we got to the door he looked at me.

There we were, eye to eye. Silent. I could hear both our breaths. They sounded completely in sync

"Do you mind getting the door please, miss?" I could now feel his warm breath upon my face

I nodded Without saying a word and brought one arm from around him, so slowly that my fingers traced the back of his neck. I felt him shudder.

I opened the door and the sunset hit our face. I turned to michael to see that skin was glowing. Almost sparkling. He turned to me once more and smiles

*car horn beeps*

We break eye contact and look to see a car pulling towards the front of the building. Its kristen.

Michael steps outside the door with me still in his arms and makes his eay towards the car. I watch kristen roll her window down with a shocked and confused expression on her face.

I roll my eyes and laugh, forgetting that it was into Michaels ear

I immediately stop

"Dont worry, i saw that too" he smirks

Kristen stops the car and unlocks the passenger door. Michael puts me down carefully and opens the door for me to climb in.

"What on earth" kristen mouths to me as i look at her

I wink at her.

Michael takes the seatbelt and wraps it around me.

"Ooh thank you"

"Its my pleasure. Get home safe girls. Oh, i almost forgot..."

He hands me a piece of paper

"Its my buisness card on it. You called the office number before but this has my mobile number on it. Its easier to get hold of me in case im not in the office or if you're really struggling for any reason at all, dont hesitate to get in touch" he gives me a closed-mouthed smile.

"I sure will. Thank you, and im sorry if i broke the table in there. Ill replace it" my cheeks get hotter when i think about falling over

"Im just glad you're ok Bella. Rest that ankle. Bye girls" Michael steps away from the car and kristen waves him goodbye as we drive off.

As we're getting further away, i glanse into the side mirror to see him walking back into the building with his hands in his pockets and i smile.

"Now, bella. You need to tell me what the hell that was all about!" Kristen shouts, digging me in the arm

"Nothing" i laugh rubbing my arm.

"That wasnt nothing"

"Just keep driving. I wanna get home in one piece thank you"

"Oh yeah because you were doing so well before i picked you up right?!" We both giggle

"Just drive. It was nothing. I fell over, he helped me out, thats all"

Even i was lying to myself. That, back there, was everything
