Growing up, [Y/N] had always considered 'home' as a subjective label. In physicality, the South Pole was her home for it was the only land she knew of.

What she didn't expect was the Avatar to reappear after one hundred years and to be pulled into a mission to restore balance in the world while also finding balance in herself.

SO, atla is my current hyperfixation. this is a rewrite of the series. all three books, babey!

there will be changes to the original plot.

ALSO, i have only read a couple atla fics. i've noticed that a lot of points i have in this story are very similar to many of others. believe it or not, i thought of this story line before i began searching/reading fics. and so i just want to make clear that it is never my intention copy and if i have, please let me know as soon as possible.

( i always have room for improvement & so i am also open to constructive criticism. )
