Bakugou's POV:
The sight of Deku on the ground. Blood all over his battered and broken body. Made me sick to my stomach. So I ran out of class. I'm sure my teacher was probably yelling at me, but at the time I didn't notice. The only thing I could hear was my thoughts screaming.
^You idiot! It's your fault he jumped! If you had just been nice for once and rejected him like a normal person. Then he would still be-^
My mouth started to fill up with water. So I ran to the restroom and in a stall. Where I proceeded to puke.
^No don't think that way. He could still be alive. Please god! Please don't let him die because of me.^
"I'm sorry. I.... I'm so so sorry Deku. "
I whispered to myself as teardrops hit the toilet water. Wishing I could take back what I said. By the time i wiped the tears away and got out of the restroom. An ambulance was taking Deku to the hospital. For the rest of the week. Our classes were canceled. So that way we all had time to visit him in the hospital. The next day I went to go see him,but stopped before I opened the door to his room. As I was reaching for the door handle. I stopped myself. Wondering if this was the right thing to do.
^should I go and apologize, or would my presence make his condition worsen?^
I didn't want to chance it. So I waited a few days for his recovery. However on the day I was going to see him. My house got a call from the school. My mom answered it and looked upset.
"Hello?..........yes............oh really? Well I'll be sure to let him know........ Alright you to. Bye."
"So who was that?"
"The school. They just got the news about your classmate. I'm sorry but you can't visit him today."
"I have to though. You don't understand!"
"Katsuki you can't because he's dead."
Her eyes full of tears. As she looked me in the eye and told me the news. It didn't make since to me.
^How is this possible? He was recovering so well.^
That same day. I was supposed to take the U.A. entrance exam. So I vowed to be a hero for Deku, and not for my own foolish reason.
