Ethan was shot and was lying motionless. Favian darted three knives together towards the guards. One of them pierced a guards' eye which was plastic. The other two were caught by the guards mid-air. These guards were quick.
"Nice try kid! Your friend is dead because of you." The guard tossed the knife he caught back to Favian. "Do what he failed to do!"
Favian held the pup and the knife and sat glaring at the guard but, he didn't move a muscle.
"Boys, He needs some motivation!" One of the guards went to the other end of the cell. He pointed his gun at Alvis. "You want to be responsible for his death too?" Favian didn't budge.
"Three.. two.. one" Bang!
"NOOOOO" Favian screamed
"Well kid if you don't want your third friend to die, start skinning the pup"
"STOP IT!"
"KILL HER"
'BANG!'
"NOOO"
"DO as you are taught in the academy! Fleece it"
Favian saw Cassini's face. She still had a straight face but, her eyes conveyed otherwise. She was terrified and scared to death. She has accepted the fate that beholds her. Cassini looked up at Favian, tears flowed through her eyes and she shut it.
Life is unfair. Some people die of reason and some just vanish leaving an empty void.
Another shot and Cassini died. Favian broke down to tears.
Favian heard another bang, something hit his chest and he collapsed while his pup was barking at him.
