7 ⇢ morning

jeongguk woke up to warm around his middle, it was nice, normally he was a bit chilly, but today was different. opening his eyes, he saw baek smiling at him with a smug look, "no lover, huh?" he said.

jeongguk looked to see jimin was cuddling him- there was his source of warmth. jeongguk blushed and was gonna hit baek when the boy dodge him and left for duties. moving, jeongguk got out then woke up jimin, "wake up jimin," he said as he slipped into his boots, "you have to get up."

jimin groaned then stretched, "hmm?" he said then opened his eyes, "oh," he said and sat up, "jeongguk," he said then put his arms out, "help me down."

jeongguk mentally slapped himself for thinking he was cute and helped him down. jimin thanked him then put on his own boots, "having breakfast first?" he asked, jeongguk nodded, "jin is going to take over cooking. hes the best cook this ship has," he explained as they headed to the kitchen, "you had been eating mark's cooking. turns out he mixed up stuff like salt and gunpowder. jin is much better. you'll see."

jimin nodded as they entered.

jimin saw the captain with the lady eating together, with an older man he didn't know. then saw the younger boys, mainly the rest of the main members (the ones jeongguk explained) on the other side, talking.

"so if it isn't the newbie," said baek, "had a nice sleep with jeongguk," he teased, making mark chuckle. jeongguk rolled his eyes and jimin blushed.

"what is jin cooking?" asked jeongguk as he and jimin took their seats, "some new stew he made. hopefully it's good," answered mark then looked at jimin, "i'm mark, we haven't met," he said with smile, jimin returned the smile and his name.

"who's the old man?" asked jeongguk, gesturing to the new old man who was sitting with sunni and the captain."

"apparently he is the captain's friend," answered baek. jeongguk nodded and looked away.
