jimin held on jeongguk's shirt tightly from behind. he didn't know jeongguk was thinking when jeongguk dropped the sword.

"talk," jeongguk said, "or should i talk for you?" jimin had no idea what jeongguk was saying.

byulmang crossed his arms, "oh so you have me figured out, huh?" he said amused, "go on, tell me. what am i up to?"

jeongguk pulled out a piece of paper from his pocket and unfolded it, "you want the reward money."

byulmang uncrossed his arms, "where-"

"you came from the mainland where this poster was from and told the captain that there wasn't any reward money. you knew he wouldn't want to keep any extra person on board if he couldn't do anything so you told him to dump him somewhere else. of course the captain knew not to dump him where he had gotten him so decided to find somewhere else too."

"by making the captain think jimin is useless to him, you kept your eye on jimin for yourself. were going to knock out jimin tonight and leave the ship with him and claim the money."

jimin's eyes widened, as jeongguk continued, "but you couldn't have done with all alone right? you needed someone really close to him to make sure your words were getting to him. so that whatever you were saying was creditable. sunni is working with you. she is the one who's been helping you with the captain. i bet shes trying to make the captain go early so you both would have no trouble leaving."

byulmang clapped his hands, "you are smart," he admitted, "you are indeed smart."

jimin held on to jeongguk when suddenly byulmang grabbed the dropped sword from the floor and pointed it to jeongguk and jimin, "hand me the boy," he said to jeongguk.

jeongguk held jimin's arm from behind, "not happening," he replied. jimin felt his cheeks blush a but along with his heart beating with fear.

suddenly byulmang moved forward to stab jeongguk when jeongguk pushed jimin to the side as jeongguk dodged it and kicked the man wrist. in pain, byulmang let go, of the handle which jeongguk stole the sword and pointed it at byulmang.

"oh no you don't," jeongguk said, "jimin," jeongguk looked at him who was shocked as to what had just happened, "go get the others." jimin nodded and quickly left.

once jimin left byulmang start to bolt after jimin. "jimin run!" jeongguk shouted. jimin turned and saw an angry byulmang after him.
