for the next few days the royal was stuck in a stinky cage and forced to eat spoiled food. oh how much he missed the castle.

it's been days since he had left and there was no sign of a money reward.

the royal only spoke to jeongguk, and shared that his name was jimin. what status he had in the castle was not shared but kept secret.

it annoyed jeongguk but he pushed it aside. he secretly enjoyed having jimin on board the ship, he had someone smart and around his age.

jeongguk read a lot, something his father thought was crazy. jimin on the other hand was simultaneously shocked and impressed by the pirate. they shared their opinions about different novels, and argued about some.

jeongguk brought jimin his dinner, "eat up," he said, "this one is better, then crew bought decent vegetables this time."

jimin obeyed and ate.

"if there is no sign of the money reward you may be let go of," jeongguk said.

jimin looked at him surprised.

jeongguk continued, "but of course not on the same place. we will place you somewhere else. oceans aways from where we found you."

jimin groaned, "how creul!" he said, "what if," he said carefully, "what if i stay here?"

jeongguk looked at him suspiciously, "you want to be a pirate?"

jimin nodded. as a kid jimin played pirate with his younger brother and had an interest in them. it wouldn't hurt to actually be one.

"yes," jimin said, "i would like to be a pirate."

jeongguk was a shocked, a royal turning into a pirate. interesting.

"i'll have to talk with the captain," jeongguk said. jimin nodded and finished eating.
