The guy! Not even kidding. This guy is not a bad driver. Reckless like I, but a little bit stupid. Its actually kinda fun having him drive. Although I didn't really show that I enjoyed it, my smile never seized from lips.
After a while and we're once again out of the city. It'd actually be exciting to find out where the Joker's hide outs are. Imagine the waves of cash that'd be thrown at me, just for them to get such juicy information. I shiver at the amazing that. Soon we take a long unmarked road into a forest and it felt like an eternity, since none of us shared a word.
"Shut up." He growls. I look at him with a bitchy look, since I didn't say anything.
It seemed that I had it wrong, because he smacks his head on the window, clearly irritated. He continues to mutter to himself, making it seem that he's talking to himself. 'Does he have schizophrenia or something? It'd make sense to why he's a mad man.' I actually somehow feel bad for his misfortune.
"He's just a lost soul, and knowing Inias, he'd have a soft spot to not kill him too. Or maybe he would, just to end Joker's ongoing suffering. Wait? What the fuck!? Joker bad! Joker bad! Joker bad!"
I sake my head at my stupidity and face back to the dark view in front of me. Just the sight of my "home" caused my mouth to drop in astonishment. He. Has. A. PENTHOUSE!? And the place is huge! How come no one ever noticed the building?
Joker laughs in delight and I face him, our eyes locking again. "Ya like what ya see?"
I was just so speechless, and all I could do is nod. Such a gorgeous place. He parks us into the garage and we both hop out simultaneously. I watch as he walks away and he yells, "Hurry up! We have a meeting with the boys!"
Not wanting to be lost, I rush after him and map out the place. Mostly keeping track of shadows. He leads me to an elevator and one of the goons opens it for us. All three of us file into the moving box of unpredictable death, and Joker presses the button for the top floor.
"The silence is just soooooo deafening and unbearably awkward. I'm not sure if its because of the unpleasant scent of emotions radiating off the two men, or if its the extra tag along, or if its just the fact that I'm trapped in a box with someone I hate. Wait, no. Hate isn't the word... Seems weak. Um... Loathe! I loathe The Joker. Yeah, that's better."
The much needed sound of the the elevator bell brings a relief to my ears and the doors are open wide. I let the two out before me and follow them into a meeting room. Ten men, plus Jonny awaits for us to take a seat at the large table. Joker takes a seat at the end, like a normal boss would and I notice a spare seat a couple people away. Just as I try to take the seat, Joker rushes and grabs a hold of me. A small squeak escapes my lips as he forcefully sits me on his lap.
'Don't gauge his eyes out. Don't gauge his eyes out. Don't gauge his eyes out.' I mentally repeat to myself. I take a deep breathe and calm down whilst listening to whatever my purpose for now is supposed to be.
Jonny stands and clears his throat, readying to say his thought out plan/speech. "Yesterday we were notified that the city's largest bank will be refilled in two weeks, making their security measures doubling in sizes. But we have compromised a plan that gives us a window that's at least one hour and a half. So here's the plan..."
*Time Skip
Its been like a whole hour of this highly detailed meeting, and not one information involved me, leaving me confused. And! My ass is feeling numb from sitting on Joker's lap for so long. I've tried to get off from time to time, but fail with every attempt, and he'd tighten his grip on my waist. Joker would sometimes interrupt Jonny, just to either praise, joke or growl. 'Is he even serious about this? Or is he just a moron?'
