"Dad, Rukia is here" Unmei yelled to her dad as she gave Rukia a smile and invited her into her father's shop
"Thank you, lady Unmei" Rukia smiles and steps into the shop
"I told you before, there is no need to be so formal with me, just call me Unmei" unmei smiled
"cleanup batter, Jinta Hanakari, here's the windup and the pitch" Jinta yells from outside and Unmei gives Rukia a polite smile
"I better go make sure that Jinta isn't doing anything too stupid or annoying Ururu" Unmei laughs and then opens the door to the shop and goes outside
"with a perfect backswing, he lets it go. a homerun" Jinta yells and then notices Unmei as she walks out of the door and he misses the ball
"Jinta, you better get to work or else Tessai will scold you," Uruyu says to the red-headed boy
"Always the hard worker arent you uruyu, Jinta I thought you were better at baseball then that," Unmei says playfully and walks towards the two and pats them on the head "why don't the three of us go down to the fields for a bit and play some baseball"
"We cant, Tessai wants us to clean up," Ururu tells unmei and unmei gives her a frown
"So what let's go have some fun. Im bored" Unmei whines childishly
"You already look like a little kid, you don't need to act like one too" JInta laughs but instantly regrets it when he feels the giant spiritual pressure being released and the giant glare from the girl that was a lot older than them but basically the same height
"What did you say" Unmei yells and walks toward JInta before grabbing his shirt and his shirt slowly started to freeze from where the girl's grip tightened on the soft material
Nobody said anything as the air around them went icy cold but after a few seconds a large grin made its way onto her pale face and her eyes lit up in the excitement "lets go train downstairs for a bit Raijin & Fujin are getting bored too"
"Can Zanpuktos even get bored?" Jinta asks as he rolls his eyes
"Of course they can, they feel and experience things just like we do. They are living things" Unmei replies and smiles at the boy "If you're to scared to come down and train with me then i guess i can let you stay up here with Tessai and let you explain why you stopped cleaning"
Jinta's eyes widened "What n..." Jinta was cut off by Kisuke calling them inside
The three walked inside and saw Kisuke talking to Rukia
"Ururu can you please go get miss Kuchikis delivery from the storeroom," Kisuke asks and ururu nods her head and walks off towards the storeroom
"It says new item on the box" Kisuke calls out to her
Ururu comes back out a few minutes later with something wrapped up in a white cloth and hands it to Rukia
"Is this the only one that you could get?" Rukia asks
"don't say that. its the second most popular and it was actually really hard to get" Kisuke says as he looks at the soul reaper "You can't fake it forever"
"I know that," Rukia says and then begins to leave
Unmei runs out after her "Hey Rukia, i don't want to take up any of your time but could you please just tell me, how is Toshiro going?" Unmei asks then looks down in shame and embarrassment. She was the one who left him and the soul society, not the other way around.
"Im surprised it took you this long to ask me, he took Isshin Kurosaki's place ask the squad 10 captain and Rangiku Matsumoto is his lieutenant. You know im sure if you went back to the soul society it wouldn't take long for them to accept you again, you were well-loved throughout the soul society. Even my brother adored you"
"Its good that he became a captain so quickly, I knew that he could. Also, I want to go back to the soul society but I can't just leave my dad, he needs me here" Unmei says to the Kuchiki sister
"he was the captain of squad 12, im sure that he would be able to take care of himself" Rukia said to the girl who was shorter than her.
"Someones gotta help those two old men look after Jinta and Ururu,"
