"Okay, how the hell did this happen?" Connor asked staring at the multiple copies of Percy.
"Robin," Kaldur looked at me. "Do you have any idea on what this may be?" I shook my head. He sighed. "Do either of you know?"
One of them, the one with the same eyes and green streaked hair shrugged. "Your guess is as good as mine."
"Probably a spell." Yellow-eyed Percy said.
Those two were the only ones awake. Three others laid unconcious on the floor. Green Percy pressed her lips together.
"Robin, do you have any rope we can borrow?" she asked.
"Why?"
The question was answered for me as another of the Percy's woke up and immediately tried to attack Wally. Yellow and Green grabbed the Red-Eyed Percy and pulled her back.
"Why can't she be up yet?" Yellow said through gritted teeth. "She's stronger than me."
"You're acting like she can get past the both of us."
"What are you guys talking about?" The next Percy to wake up was the one with white eyes.
"Can you wake her up?"
"I'll try." The white-eyed Percy sat there and made no move to wake up the last Percy.
"What is going on here?" Black Canary asked, walking into the room. We shrugged, trying our best to ignore the fight happening behind us.
"For the gods sake, can you calm down for once in your life or do we need to go back to anger management?!" Green Percy yelled.
"You know why that was justified."
"Didn't mean we had to knock the kid out!"
"He insulted Mom and us! He said it was a good thing Gabe beat us!"
Everyone froze and looked back at the Percys. Red slipped out of Green and Yellow's grip. They stood frozen.
Green narrowed her eyes before shaking her head. Yellow started crying, which started another fight.
"And this is why our parents are the best in the world." White said.
"Guys, stop it." Finally, the last Percy woke up. Blue streaked her hair, matching the dark blue of her eyes.
Artemis rubbed her temples. "Okay. Who are you guys?"
Blue stood up. "Sadness." She pointed to Red. "Anger." Her finger moved to Yellow. "Anxiety." Her fingered wavered as it moved to White. "Deception."
"I'm Loyalty." Green said. "We're aspects of Percy. It's nice to meet you."
"Technically speaking, we've already met." Anxiety said, messing with a pen.
Anger huffed. "Why does she have to be the smart one?"
"Because I'm too self-sacrificing. You're hot-headed. Sadness is just too depressed to care and it would be really, really bad if Deception had most of the intelligence." Loyalty crossed her arms. "Bad enough she has as much as she does."
"You know I was born from necessity. Unlike you who's just going to get her killed." Deception rolled her startling white eyes. I wonder if they'd glow in the dark. "You've lied just as much as I have, if not more."
"Lied about what?" Wally asked.
"Where bruises came from, what my dad thinks of me, why I can't get a good night's sleep, how I helped murder my first step dad. Normal things."
I looked at the rest of the Team and they looked back at me.
"Uh. Is that a lie or-" Canary asked.
"No. That one's true." Loyalty sighed. "The bastard deserved it, actually no. He's not a bastard. That's disrespectful to me and all the other illegitimate kids I know. He's- Anxiety, help me with a word here?"
"Anger's the one with cuss words, don't look at me."
Loyalty looked at Anger who supplied her with words. I didn't get a chance to hear them. Wally covered my ears. Once he was sure Anger finished, he removed them.
"Those work."
"It is still murder," Kaldur said. "No matter how much you believed he deserved it-"
"The dude beat my mom and me. I know sign language because I couldn't talk for an entire year. He accused me of kidnapping my mom and had me labeled a terrorist. If we hadn't killed him, he would've killed us. Besides it's not like you can really prove it. There's no evidence besides the words that left the fractured parts of someone's whole. Also, my dad told kinda encouraged it and my dad's not a person to go against." Loyalty shook her head.
"No one in our family is. It's only luck that's kept us alive this long. It's going to run out soon and then we're going to die and-" Anxiety began rambling and paced the floor.
"She's right. We should be dead already. I mean we already lived a lot longer than we were expected to. We managed to reach sixteen against all odds. How can we keep surviving? I mean we're only alive because of our friends and most of them are dead." Sadness looked at her hands.
Loyalty groaned. "See? This is what I deal with all of the time. If it's not holding those two in check it's keeping Anger from getting out of hand."
"It's not our fault we exist. Not exactly like we take medication for our ADHD."
"Untreated ADHD can lead to depression and anxiety." Canary said. "Have you ever thought about taking medication?"
All of them shook their heads. "It's better for Percy as a whole to deal with that than the repercussions of suppressing her ADHD."
"Why?" Connor asked. Megan flew into the room. We all looked at her expectantly.
No luck. There's nothing in the library on this.
We sighed.
"That's a discussion for another time. We need to make some calls." Loyalty said and walked away, with the others on her heels.
Okay, I swear I'm trying to give myself a mental breakdown before fall.
I started a book that is literally all angst with a happy ending. It's a one shot book, and requests are currently open.
And I'm planning a YJ Robin book that's just a bunch of angst and stuff.
And I might make a my hero academia book. And another book. And I'm just going to crawl into a hole, curl up, and cry.
See yah
