A/n this happens after 'hair' also Hinata's pov

"We aren't even friends, boke"

Those words, they rung through my ears I always thought we were at least friends, but then again I don't think of my friends the same way I do Kageama.

"I thought we were" I said softly, slumping away from Kageama's gaze.

Kageama must have noticed something was up, as he spoke softly "Hinata, I didn't think that through, I mean, I guess we are kinda friends, it's just kinda weird to admit it"

I smiled at him gently looking up at him, meeting his gaze, and for a split second I saw his blushing face before he glanced away.

"Hey want to practice some more?" I asked breaking the silence, he looked back at me nodding gently

I so badly want to tell him how I feel now but I have to remember that these things can't be rushed, well at least the whole confession part. As practice came to an end, and had finished cleaning up I smirked, a auspicious idea came to my mind. I crept close to him before placing a gentle peck on his cheek running away shortly afterwards. I can't be sure he felt it but it felt nice to express how I feel, even without words.

The next day I was pinned to a wall by the gloomy setter, turns out he did feel it, and had a lot of questions. Eventually with time, things worked out, and now all I have to do is say how I feel, though he probably already knows.
