Saving Georgina Potter ~Charlie Weasley~ under editing

Prologue

Georgina Potter slept quietly in her bed that Halloween night, after begging her parents to do what the other children outside were doing, she had quietly gone upstairs and put her self to bed, hating the fact that the Potters were different. Uncle Sirius would tell her they were playing a massive game of hide and seek, from You Know Who, but Georgina didn't know who, but who ever they were she wished that he would hurry up and find the potters so she could collect sweets with the other kids. Georgina didn't happen to know what would happen next, and would hate herself for ever wishing such a thing.

Georgina's parents, Lily and James, sat downstairs entertaining her younger brother, Harry, whilst they talked about the argument they had earlier with their four year old daughter. Mid conversation, they house drew quiet, apart from Harry's babbling, as the adult notice the sound of the gate open, James slowly went towards the window, stating to his wife that Sirius mention something about visiting, but as he looked out the window and saw the cloaked figure walking down the path towards the house, the words left his mouth and were replace with new ones. "It's him. Lily take Harry! I'll hold him! Run. The last couple of words being pointless cause as soon as Lily saw James face when he looked out their window, she had already scooped her youngest child into her arms, and ran upstairs, with plans on protecting both of her children.

Voldemort enter the Potters home with ease, knocking the door of its hinges with a flick of his one. James potter, having left his wand in the living room, decide he would fight the dark wizard using his hands, he probably could of won too, if it was a fair fight, but before he could land a punch, the room filled with a green light, and James now laid upon the stair case, dead. Stepping over his body Voldemort made his was up the stairs towards the room Lily Potter was in with her youngest Harry, putting him in his crib as she told him how much she loved him, knowing it would be the last time he saw her. When Voldemort enter the room, he surprised Lily by offering her life if she gave him the child, but she refused, cause if one was gonna died a war, it better be protecting the ones they love. When the room filled with the same green light that killed James, it startled Harry, making him cry, and only to cry harder when he saw his mother lying on the floor motionless. The bang of Lily crashing to the fall what was woke Georgina up that night, and just as she was about to leave her room to see what mischief her family was up to, she heard an foreign voice cry out "Avada kedavra", followed immediately you a long bang.

Scared, Georgina did what she was told to do if this ever happen, run. She had ran down the upstairs hallway, jumping over a weird looking mans body, not daring to look into the room he was near. She didn't dare look down as she jumped over her father on the stair case, Sirius told her that if she was to stay, she would be taken away from her family. So she ran, ran to pre arrange spot near the local church in town, and waited for her mum or dad, or even Sirius to come and collect her, but they never did.

After that night the only a few people knew the Georgina Potter was still alive apart from Georgina herself, one of which was Albus Dumbledore. Albus had found her, and just before he meet up with Hagrid at her aunts house. He had taken her to hogwarts, to try and figure out living arrangements. Georgina ended being raise by Minerva McGonagall, who raised to be a kind, caring, strong young girl. When she wasn't with Minnie as Georgina called her, which would be when McGonagall was teaching, or doing other duties, Georgina had spent her time in the hospital wing, being looked after by Poppy.

Georgina was sorted her name was read out as Georgina McGonagall, which even seem to confused Minerva, but she didn't say anything, until the hat screamed out "Gryffindor" but all she said was 'proud' in a small whisper. And when she started taking class at hogwart, moving into the hogwart tower and out of Minnie room, tho she would sneak back when she couldn't sleep at night, Minnie would greet her the next morning with a nice cup of tea, and lightly scold her for walking the halls at night. When Harry came to hogwarts, Georgina was beyond excited to see her brother again, but was told by Albus that Harry couldn't know he had a sister, not yet, no one understood the reasoning the old man had, and though both Georgina and Minerva tried to change his mind, neither could. So Georgina tried to help him when ever she could, without him knowing or not. They're we're often nights where she had plan to go sleep in her room in Minnies room, but she would bump into Harry instead in the common room, and would get him to open up about what was keeping him up. This would confuse Harry, as he never got why he was so open to this random girl, who went by G, but it was just so easy. Harry was kinda bumped when the girl left hogwarts, but didn't realise he would meet her again.

Georgina having spent so much of her youth in the hospital wing at hogwarts helping madam promfry, thought it a no brainer to train to become a healer. When she was deciding on a place to learn, she chose a small hospital located in Romania, the mainly handled the dragon workers, healing their burns and scratches and taking care of their general medical needs. And this way she would get the chance to travel, before it became under safe too. She hadn't wanted to leave England, especially after Sirius had just return, but Georgina knew that she would be a better helper in the long run if she took this opportunity, and she knew it would give Minerva peace of mind.
