Saving Georgina Potter ~Charlie Weasley~ under editing

Chapter 4

The door to number 4 privet drive opened to reveal a tall skinny woman, who's face look like she was always smelling something rotten. The woman looked at the two on her door step, and step aside to let them in, simply saying "your lucky my husband isn't home." Georgina looked at her aunt petunia as she followed Dumbledore into the house, the woman before her hadn't changed much since she had last saw her, and that was before Harry was born, but Georgina remembers her mostly as her mother had kept a picture of Lily and petunia on the wall at home, Lily had been about 8 years old in the photo. She seemed happy back then.

Georgina looked around the home her brother had grown up in as she made her way to the lounge room. As she past the the staircase, her eyes drifted to the cupboard under the staircase. Upon seeing the cupboard underneath it she was remind of when she first met Harry at hogwarts, he told her he couldn't believe that they knew he slept in the cupboard under the stairs. Remembering this made her blood boil, as she was about to whip around and yell at her aunt, Dumbledore had grabbed her arm, and nearly dragged her into the loungeroom.

"We come with good news, Petunia." Dumbledore stated as he sat down on the couch and gesture the chair to petunia like he owned the place. Petunia looked at him with a taste of disgust, as she sat down.

"Your here for the boy." She said, a little to hopeful for Georgina liking, she looked at the woman, trying to see if she had got the tone right but her facial expression hadn't change since she answered the door. It was as if she was acting, like she was trying not to show them what she was really feeling, but as she wasn't making eye contact with Georgina, she couldn't tell.

"Yes, we're here for Harry, I have the paperwork if you want to see it, as I'm of age, I am legally Harry's guardian. Is he upstairs?" Georgina asked, looking around like she had just missed him on her way in.

"Harry, get down here." Petunia called, yelling in the direction of the stairs. "I don't need your paperwork, just an okay from him." She stated whilst pointing at Dumbledore. Georgina looked really confused at this, but Dumbledore just nodded at petunia, and she relaxed a bit. Petunia was sad to see the boy go, even though she didn't show it, it was the last piece of her sister she had, his eyes. But yet a spitting image of her sister was sitting right in front of her and it hurt to look at her.

The room had fallen into a quiet as the wait for the sounds of Harry's footsteps coming down the stair he once lived under. Georgina didn't know if she would be able to hear it though, as each second passed her heart beat got louder in her ears, she was sure it could explode.

"Professor?" Harry said as he enter the room, killing the silence. He looked around the room, confusion clearly written all of he's face. Georgina took this chance to have a good look at her brother, making sure it looked like he had been eating, no marks other the his scar, and notice the fact the he apparently didn't get his hair cut since the last time she saw him. Harry has now focussed on her, getting more confused to why she would be here.

"Harry, splendid." Dumbledore responded to Harry, gesturing to the spot on the couch next to him. It was at this point in time Georgina remember that Harry was quite famous at hogwarts for his temper, a temper he got from there mother. She looked at Dumbledore, who sat the seemingly oblivious to the mess that was about to happen, that he had create, years ago. Dumbledore also seemed to be ignoring her so she shot him a sharp look before turning her attention to Harry.

"Harry, before I start I would like to point out that I have tried to tell you for years, just someone forbade me to say anything, but now I'm of age..." Georgina began, stopping to read Harry's face, the boy who lived didn't look to surprise that there was another secret that was kept most his life, so she continued. "I'm a your older sister. My full name is Georgina Lillian Potter, not Georgina McGonagall, and I'm am now your legal guardian." Harry's face expressed so many emotions at once, Georgina became concern that he had pulled a muscle.

"What?" Harry exclaimed, looking around at the three, like they had gone crazy. "My sister?" He asked looking utterly confused, looking Georgina dead in the eyes for a moment before turning to Dumbledore looking for the answer. Dumbledore looked back only at her though, and simply spoke
"It's your story." Hearing those words come out of his mouth made her blood boil, she snapped.

"My story, then why have you had control over it most my life, you're the reason we went into hiding, you're the reason I grew up at hogwarts, you're the reason I was taken away from the only family I had left. Harry, Remus, Sirius, if you had of let Sirius find me that night we wouldn't be here right now." She spoke quietly at first, but as she the words came out of her mouth the louder they got, before she knew it was all out, and she was left staring at Dumbledore in shock, wiping the tears off her check.
"Sirius knew?!" Harry asked her, still confused about the situation.

"Of course he knew about me Harry, what do you think I've been a secret my whole life." She responded, looking at her brother in disbelief. "Sirius came to me first last year, I remembered his animagus, I asked him not to tell you, though I thought it might be a clever way to get around him." She said, jabbing her thumb in Dumbledore's direction. "But I also wanted you to believe Sirius when you meet him, bring up a long lost sister wouldn't of helped him."

"Harry, go upstairs and pack your stuff, you should leave before Vernon gets home." Aunt petunia said, looking at her sisters children, Harry looked at his aunt confused, as it hadn't quite got to him he would be living with he sister.
"Yes, we best be off, Sirius is probably hungry, and it's a long trip to Romania." Georgina said, looking at her brother, hoping the mention of there godfather would calm him down. Harry nodded at what she had said and made his way out of the room but just before he enter the hall way he turned to her and asked
"Romania?"

"Yep, I live in Romania, don't worry your headmaster says you shall continue your schooling at hogwarts, due to the emotional stress he's caused, right Albus?" Georgina said turning her attention to Albus with a hand on her hip. The headmaster just chuckled at the young woman, and stood from his spot on the couch.

"I don't think another school would have him, after looking at his transcript. Harry here, is to fond of adventures." Albus said, as went to leave the room also. "Thank-you Petunia, I know it's been a lot." And with that the headmaster left the house.

Petunia looked at the girl, as if waiting for her to leave to but the girl just enter the kitchen where her aunt was currently starting to get dinner ready.
"You know, she always wanted to make up with you. She didn't know how." Georgina started, hoping to give her aunt some peace. "She would be thankful for everything you did for him, you know. Even though she would be angry over a couple of things, she would be happy that Harry is the boy he is today. That's because of you, you made him into a kind, strong boy, thank-you." Petunia has turned her back to the girl, and simply whispered "I miss her." Before exiting to the backyard. Georgina took this as her cue to leave, she waited for Harry at the bottom of the stairs, and they left.

I've made this chapter longer, as I realised the past ones aren't as long as I would like them to be, so sorry about that. So I'm gonna start leaving little hints for what's to come in the next chapter, and maybe down the track a quote, but as I'm still editing before I publish the nexts chapters, I'll just give you a hint

Harry and Sirius reunite
Georgina and Charlie meet! Woo crazy that I'm writing a fanfic that will heavily base Charlie and he hasn't even been mention yet.
