The apartment was all of a sudden very empty, or at least that's how it felt to Georgina. Sirius had decided to stay in England for the time being, wanting to be close to Harry to help with the tournament, as no matter how much Georgina, Minerva or Sirius argued, Dumbledore wouldn't budge on his decision. So Georgina was suddenly alone, for the first time in her life, and whilst the first couple of hours were great, it only took her 5 minutes from coming home from work the next day, to owl Charlie, inviting him over.
An hour later Charlie arrived in the apartment, letting himself in, as to Georgina instructions. He walked in to her blaring music, dancing around the kitchen whilst she cooked, blissfully unaware of the male that just walked into her apartment. Charlie stood there for a moment, watching her, before deciding to join in. It wasn't until he went to turn her that Georgina even notice him being there, frightened she gave a light squeal, but as she noticed it was Charlie, she burst into laughter melting into his chest to hide the embarrassment that she was now feeling. Charlie started laughing too, as he wrapped his arm around her small body, like it was second nature, and began to move both their bodies to the beat.
"Let's try that again, shall we?" Charlie said, as he grabbed her hand and twirled her. After the twirl she pulled away, turning the music down a little, a light blush slowly setting in on her checks.
"Do you want something to eat? I'm making mash potatoes, and roast beef." Georgina asked as she made her way over to check on the bowl of potato's that was mashing itself.
"I would love some, thanks." Charlie said, taking a seat at table where he normally sits, barely taking his eyes of her whilst he did so.
"What were your parents like?" he asked after a couple of minutes of silence.
"What?" Georgina responded, putting a plate down in front of him, before taking a seat for herself.
"Sorry, its just you've never talked about them, and I want to know who raised you, other than McGonagall." He stated, talking slowly, as if he was walking across a tightrope.
"You have nothing to apologise for, I'm happy you asked, it was just random timing." Georgina responded, stirring gravy into her mashed potatoes.
"Dad look exactly like Harry, it's weird seeing Harry sometimes. Dads laughter was infectious, and he would life at anything, unlike Harry whom laughs like he's surprised to be happy, I hate that." Georgina started, she didn't really want to compareHarry with their dad, but it was the easiest way to describe him. "Dad was fiercely protective, barely anyone knew I existed, it was meant to be the same with Harry, but the prophecy made that hard. He would of been so proud of me, yet disappointed that I never tried out for quidditch, but would of love that i helped heal the teams after woulda, would of tried and convince me to leave the slytherins alone."
"Mum was kind, caring but like your mother you do not want to get on her bad side, she had this fire, never aimed it at me, just dad and Sirius." Georgina said, staring down at her plate, a tear had made its way from her face to her food.
"They sound great, I would of love to meet them, maybe even play your dad in quidditch." Charlie said, looking at her concerned.
"Ha, he was a chaser, o we could of have family match's." Georgina responded, tears falling rapidly down her face.
"Hey it's okay." Charlie said, getting up to hug her, he pulled her into his chest, and just let her cry, whilst muttering comforting sayings under his breath.
"I'm sorry, its just hard." Georgina said, pulling a away far enough to look up at Charlie's face.
"you have nothing to be sorry for." Charlie responded, placing a hand on her face, using his thumb to wipe the tears off her cheek. G leading into his hand, looking into his eyes, and found her self thinking about kissing him. It wasn't until they heard the peck at the window that they broke apart, Charlie turning back to his meal, and Georgina going across the room to let the owl in.
