Romania was a big step for Georgina, moving away from hogwarts were she had spent most of her life scared her, but she knew she has to do it. After having a nice dinner at Minne's house to say good bye, she apparited to the hospital at which she would be working, to pick up her keys for the apartment they had organised for her. When she landed there, feeling a little nauseous, she looked around the outside of the hospital, spotting a stray dog that looked familiar to her, shaking off the feeling, cause why would he be here, she went inside to the reception to get her keys, and the address.
After an hour of walking around the streets, she finally found her apartment, she had also notice that the stray was following her, so taking a deep breathe she approached it, bending down on one knee she whispered in his ear, "If you are who I think you are, come inside?" The logic behind this was if she was correct the dog would come in, and transform into a human, and if she was wrong, it wouldn't come in at all. So she walked back to the door of her apartment, opening it in, and as she went to step inside but the dog bet her too it. Gasping Georgina followed the dog, a little scared for what was gonna happen next. She didn't know why she was scared though, she knew that if it was Sirius Black, that he was an innocent man, maybe it was the fact that she hadn't seen him for 13 years, maybe it was that he had never come for her. Closing the door, she stood there a few moments collecting her self before she turned around to face a dog. A little confused, Georgina looked at the dog expectedly like hello you should be human now.
"God, Padfoot really, I mean it's me, Georgina, you know that." She started as she walked around her new apartment, exploring the two bedroom home. "I mean, seriously, just turn back, I'm sure the Romanians don't know who you are, and even if they did, you can be a dog outside." Nothing happened, the dog just sat in the hall way watching her, as she inspected the bathroom. Georgina came out into the hall away and took a good look at the black dog in front of her, maybe she was wrong, but as she examined the dog, she knew it was Sirius, and she also notice he was wet."Sirius transform back now, this a new apartment and I don't want it smelling like wet dog." She yelled at the dog, it only shook its head a little l, as if saying no. Georgina signed "It's bad enough that Minnies place smelt of cats all the time." Upon hearing this, Sirius perked up, and watched as a defeat Georgina walked into her new living room and flopped onto the couch. It was at this moment Sirius transformed back into a human.
"She never let me call her Minnie." He said as he sat down next to him. Georgina sat up a bit in surprise, and then relaxed, glad to know she wasn't insane in thinking the dog was her uncle. The two sat there in silence for a bit, having a good look on how the years had changed them. Sirius couldn't believe how much the girl looked like her mother now, always thinking when she was little the she looked like James, now her hair was a dark auburn colour, the perfect mixture of her parents, she had deep brown eye, and a button nose that had a lite sprinkle of freckles on it. Sirius was not like Georgina had remembered, his teeth had gone a little yellow and his dark eyes lost the sparkle they had when she was a child, something years in Azkaban could do. She also notice that he was still in his prisoner clothes, at the sight of this she began to laugh, frightening Sirius.
"What are you laughing at?" He asked assumed at the young adult, "G, come on, we were being serious." At this the girl stopped laughing cause the man too laugh himself.
"You have been many this in your life Uncle Sirius, but serious is never been one, your mother was wrong to name you that." G stated shaking her head at the child like man in front of her.
"Ahh but the jokes." He replied, calming down a bit.
"You know, your not that funny." She told him, standing up for the couch, heading towards her new kitchen with the hopes there was food in there.
Sirius had followed her, himself being extremely hungry, with a sad smile on his face, "You sound like your mother than." He told the girl, causing her to share the smile with her fathers best friend. At the moment there was a bag from her fire place, and Georgina eyes widen with fear. "Dog" she said as she went back into the living room to find Minnie stepping out of the fire place."Minnie, I'm fine, I'm never gonna be independent if you keep checking up on me." Georgina told the older woman, place her hands on hips trying to stern, hoping she won't discover Sirius, she didn't know how Minerva felt about the man.
"Well I had to make sure he arrived, and you didn't harm him." Minerva told the girl whilst she gave her a quick hug and then proceed to walk into the kitchen. "Oh for goodness sakes, Mr Black, will you stop being that dog for 5 seconds." The woman cried as she found the dog sitting patiently in the kitchen wagging its tail. Georgina enter the small kitchen very confused.
"You sent him here." She asked the older woman, highly confused on the situation. She looked between the woman who raised and the man that left her, and she realised that she had indeed sent the man. "Why?" She asked, looking at Minnie, if she knew Sirius was innocent, why had she talked to Georgina about it.
"Take a seat" Sirius said whilst sharing a look with Minerva.
"What's going on?" Georgina asked, as she sat down at the dining room table. Minerva began making cups of tea for everyone with a flick of her wand, and was now looking through the cupboards for what Georgina could presume was for biscuits. Sirius had sat down in front of Georgina, whilst she was watching Minerva, and she startled when she turn to see the man sitting right in front of her. Georgina looked between the two, neither of them were looking at her, her heart started to skip beats, panic setting in her blood. "Is Harry okay?" She asked looking dead straight at Sirius, hoping he was still a big softy, and would melt under her gaze like he did when she was a kid.
Sirius just laughed when he finally looked at the girl. "That look doesn't work anymore, not as cute now you're an adult." Georgina just gave him a pointed look back, pointing out he didn't answer he question. "Harry is fine," He answered, laughing slightly, shaking his head, "but we are going to about him."
"Dumbledore has made it pretty clear that Harry is not to know I exist." Georgina said, looking at Minerva to back her up, but instead Minnie just offer the girl a biscuit when she sat down at the table with the other two, cups of teas slowly flying down to the table. "What is this about?"
"You're Harry's legal guardian."
