After watching the train leave, Georgina said goodbye to the Weasley's, leaving the promise to see Charlie on Wednesday, which they had worked out was the only day of off they both had. Once all that was done, she turned on heal, and found herself just outside the gates of hogwarts. Georgina found it weird coming to the school this way, talking a moment to stop and stare up at the castle that had been her home, longer than most students. After standing there, probably looking like an absolute muggle to anyone who might of saw her, she pushed open the gate, making her way towards the castle.
Once inside of Hogwarts, Georgina made her way to McGonagall's quarters, where she passed Severus Snape, her old potion master. She had done her best to ignore his presence, as the potion master had always been a little weird around her, a bit more snappy, than he was with other students. Which was weird cause he has only ever had to look after once whilst she lived in the castle, and that was because everyone was overseeing exams.
"Severus." Georgina said whilst politely nodding her head at the potions master, as she decided that she didn't want the professor to have another reason to dislike her.
Snape apparently didn't seem to have the same stance as he's former student, snapping "Potter" as he walked past. The sad thing is Georgina didn't bat an eye at this. She didn't pass anyone else as she made her way to Minnie's room.
"Hey, so here's Harry's form for hogsmeade." Georgina said when she as she enter the room. "It's valid this time." She shook the piece of paper, just before she place it where she knew the piled would appear tomorrow.
"Sit. Have a biscuit." McGonagall said, not looking up from her piece of paper. "I've got something to tell you."
"Awe you got my favourite's, Thanks Minnie." Georgina said as she sat down, making her self a cup of tea, to go with her biscuit.
"The Triwizard Tournament is coming to Hogwarts this year." McGonagall, said calmly watching the girl out the corner of her eye, whilst she read a letter.
"Seriously, the year after I leave, that sucks." Georgina responded, just after taking a sip of her tea. "Why are you looking at me like that?" McGonagall didn't respond, but just turn her head to look at the girl straight on, with her eyebrows raised.
"I'm a bit worried." Minnie continued ignoring what her adoptive daughter just said, though she would never call her a daughter, more of a granddaughter. "You're brother has a habit of finding himself in situations. I think this tournament is just an invitation for trouble, I've told Albus this, but you know how he is."
Georgina had stopped drinking her tea to watch mcgonagall very closely. "I was hoping have one year, more than one actually, without all this drama, I want him to have a normal school before this war starts." She said, putting her head in her hands, shaking her head. "I hope to Merlin your wrong."
"So do I." Minerva simply replied, before the two of them sat their drinking their tea quietly, as she continued to organise students papers.
"Do you know what the tasks are?" Georgina asked after a couple minutes.
"You should ask your boyfriend that." Minerva replied, with a small smirk on her face.
"What? Boyfriend? Who are you talking about." Georgina said, ignoring the fact that Charlie Weasley face didn't just pop into her mind.
"Charlie Weasley." McGonagall stated simply, her granddaughter's eyes widen. "What you don't think that I knew about you crush, seriously Georgina, you didn't hide it very well."
"Oh that." Georgina responded, a blush settling on her cheeks. "Yeah..." she said, not really knowing what to say next.
"He works with dragons now, in Romania, have you seen him." Minnie asked, her full attention now on the girl.
"Yeah a couple of times Minnie, why?" She responded, having this weird feeling that the older woman already knew that her and Charlie had been hanging out.
"Sirius says that you come back late, with a nice big smile on your face. I'm just wondering if that's the Weasley's boy doing." Minnie smirked, as realisation settle in on Georgina's face.
The girl was quite for a couple of moments, before saying, "Sirius should keep his mouth shut;" under her breathe.
"Now, leave Sirius alone." Minnie said, hearing the girl clear as anything. "Do you have anything to tell me."
"No, not at the moment, we're just mates, but if I did have news, I promised Poppy she would be the first to know, back in my second year of school." Georgina responded. Minnie shock her head at this a little. "Does one of the task have something to do with dragons?" She asked the thought only just coming to her head.
"Are you going to stay for the feast?" Minnie asked changing the subject but she still hoped the girl would say yes, it would be the first time in years that she wouldn't be there, if she said no. Minerva wasn't quite ready for that.
"I might grab a bite." Georgina responded, happy for the invitation.
"Good, you don't look like you've been eating properly." Minerva responded.
"Trust me, I've been eating just fine." Georgina said, thinking of the fact that Sirius had been learning to cook from Harry, and Charlie would take her to get food any chance he got.
Minerva watch the girl in thought, and smiled to herself, it was nice knowing she was happy.
