"Harry, mate wake up." Sirius said, after lightly trying to push his godson awake.
"Sirius?" Harry said waking, confused to see him "what are you doing here?"
"We're here to see you of course." Sirius responded, sitting down on his bed, looking around to make sure the other boys in the room were all still a sleep. Lucky for him they all were. "Come on, come down stairs, your sister is waiting."
"Who?" Harry responded, whilst reaching across to the bedside table for his glasses. By the time he had put his glasses on his face he had realised what Sirius had said, and whom he was speaking about and mumbled, "Oo Georgina." Whilst nodding his head like, he got out of bed, and followed Sirius downstairs, still confused on why his godfather and sister where at hogwarts in the middle of the night.
"So what are you guys doing here?" Harry asked, rubbing the sleep out of eyes, almost knocking the glasses of his head.
"Minerva told me, now I'm only gonna ask you this once, whatever answer you give me, I will believe." Georgina said, gesturing to the spot next to her in front of the fire. "So it better be the truth. Did you put your name in the goblet?"
"What? No!" Harry said, looking back and forth between Georgina and Sirius, fear in his eyes.
"Mate, it's alright, you're not in trouble, we just need to ask." Sirius said calmly, taking a sit on the couch.
Harry relaxed at this, but also looked uncertain towards the two of them, like if they thought he was lying he wouldn't be listen to properly.
"I don't know how my name got chosen." Harry said, looking back and forth between Georgina and Sirius, trying to gage their reactions.
"Even more reason why he shouldn't be allowed to compete." Georgina said turning to Sirius. "I still don't see why he needs my permission to go to hogsmeade but to participate in a dangerous tournament, which has killed people, and now has an age limit, it's completely okay."
Sirius sighed, listening to the girl. He leant forward from he's relaxed position on the couch, whilst doing so he rubbed his eyes with one hand.
"Harry, there are things I need to warn you about." Sirius said, looking up the stairs to make sure no one was there.
"What?" Said Harry, feeling his spirit deflate.
"Karkaroff," said Sirius, ignoring the look of confusion on his goddaughters face. "Harry, he was a death eater. You know what death eaters are, don't you?""Yes - he - what?"
"He was caught, he was in Azkaban with me, but he got released. I bet everything that's why Dumbledore wanted an Auror at hogwarts this year, to keep an eye on him. Moody caught Karkaroff, put him in Azkaban in the first place." Sirius explained, still ignoring his goddaughter, only now it was a glare he had received from her mother many times before.
"Karkaroff got released? But how?" Harry asked, not understanding the point Sirius was trying to make yet.
"Sirius." Georgina said warning him, though she was against the whole tournament thing, she wasn't comfortable trying to figure ideas on how his name was picked, and she didn't want the target on his back to make his year harder then it was already gonna be.
"He struck a deal with the ministry." Sirius said, giving a side glance at Georgina.
"Look, Harry what Sirius is trying to say, is just be a little careful with the adults you decide to trust this year okay, if you need help with anything, you go to Minnie, she will help you." Georgina said, put her hand on his arm.
"What about moody, or Dumbledore." Harry asked, looking to Sirius for approval.
"Moody has had one to many hits to the head, and Dumbledore is looking out for him self." Georgina said, giving a point glare to Sirius, communicating he didn't want he to say anything against what she just said.
"You could always contact us too." Sirius said, deciding that what Georgina had said is the truth.
"I'll be here for the weeks leading up the the first task anyway, apart of my internship, I'm guessing Sirius will be joining me now." Georgina told Harry, and Sirius nodded his head.
"Okay." Harry said, yawning.
"Why don't you go to bed now, we'll talk more tomorrow." Sirius said, standing up, ready to give the boy a hug.
"No matter what, I believe you Harry, and anyone who doesn't, is either not worth it, or going through emotions and will come around eventually, okay?" Georgina said whilst hugging him good night.
"Okay, night." Harry said as he made his was up the stairs, turning around to see the two having a heated whisper conversation as the left the common room.
