Saving Georgina Potter ~Charlie Weasley~ under editing

Chapter 9

Georgina wouldn't admit it but she kept looking around to see if Charlie had arrived yet. She also wouldn't admit of the disappointing feeling that would sink through her when she saw he wasn't there. She kept trying to tell her self she was silly, that he was making his trip back from England today, and would be here when he gets here, but as it grew closure to the end of her shift, she had expected the fact that he wasn't coming.

"Are you healer McGonagall?" a small women Georigna recognised from reception asked after tapping her on the shoulder.

"I is she." Georgina answered, getting a little worried for why she was asking, please don't be in trouble, please don't be in trouble, kept going through her head.

"There's a cute young man at reception asking to see you, so when you're not busy." the receptionist said, finishing with a wink as she walked away.

For a good couple of seconds Georgina had forgotten about the Weasley boy's promises, blushing when she remembered that she had asked Charlie to come here, she slowly made her was to reception to collect the boy.

"Fancy seeing you here." Charlie said as Georgina approached him, she chuckled a little.

"I do believe it's you that is stalking me now." Georgina responded, as she gestured for him to follow her.

"Funny." Charlie said following here down the hallway of the hospital. They walked the rest of the way in silence, when finally they reached an examination room, where Georgina motioned for charlie to hop on the bed, whilst she set the potions in case she needed to use some.

"Okay, so your going to have to take your top off so I can examine the cut, and then I'll go get healer smith to tick it off." Georgina said, turn to look at him whilst she put on a pair of gloves.

"You know, you could just admit you want to see me without a top on." He said whilst taking it it off.

"You're a cocky one aren't you? I don't see why." She responded, very thankful she wasn't blushing. "And you're the one wearing long sleeves, it seems to me you wanted to take you top off in front of me." she lifted his arm up slightly to get a better look at it. After examining it for a couple of seconds, she decided it be safe to put some dittany on it and re bandage it after healer smith had seen it.

"How's Harry?" he asked the younger girl as she dabbed the potion on his arm.

"Shh, he's good." Georgina responded, wiping her head around her shoulder to see if anyone was there and could be listening. In the process of doing this, she mange to wipe her patient the face with her face, realising she did this she wiped her head around again causing her hair to to go into charlie face. "I'm so sorry, are you okay?" she blurted out, looking at Charlie after taking a step back, to avoid it happening again. She was revealed when she found charlie laughing.

"Your face." he squeezed out in between breathes. Georgina shook her head at him, whilst taking off her gloves.

"I'm going to grab Healer smith, wait here please." She said, turning to leave the room, but was stopped by charlies hand on her elbow, she turned around slowly careful to not wipe him with her hair for the third time.

"I was only asking about your brother, to see if i would be able to ask if you wanted to grab a burger with me after your shift." He asked after he had sobered up, slightly shocking the girl in front of him. She didn't know why she was shocked, considering he had asked to hang out with a couple of days earlier, maybe it was because she didn't actually expect him to organise it, or ask so soon, or maybe she was taken back by the fact he was making sure Harry was okay first before he asked.

"Yeah, that would be great." she replied, blinking at him, slowly she took her arm out of his hand, "I better go get you ticked off then."

She walked out of the room, still a little taken back, as a slight blush crept its way on to her cheeks, as she walked to find her supervisor.

Later that evening, Georgina and Charlie find themselves walking the streets of Romanian's wizardry community, Hot chocolate's in hand.

"Why did you want to hang out with me." Georgina said, the curiosity had been eating her all night. She had only ever been in one relationship before, and it didn't last long or go down well, other than that guys didn't seem to take that much notice of her. She had been reminding herself also that Charlie was just being friendly, and even stated when he first asked that this was just a friend things, but she couldn't help but be attracted to him. His red hair stood out against his slightly tanned skin, which wasn't that tan, he's blue look into her soul, like the ocean on a peaceful summer day, and he had a light layer of freckles across his nose, which she had only notice last night when she was healing his arm.

"You seemed fun, and in my trade it's always good to have a healer in your back pocket." He said nudging her a little with his elbow.

Georgina raised an eyebrow at him, not missing the past tenses mentioned. "I seemed fun, did I? What did I do to prove that wrong?" She said looking at him, with a slight smirk on her face, on Sirius Black had taught her to do when she was a toddler.

"Yeah, you been so boring tonight, I almost fell asleep at dinner." Charlie responded, looking at her matching her smirk as the walked back to her apartment building.

"Excuse me, if I'm so boring why were you laughing so hard during dinner then?" She responded, a smile growing on her lips, even if he did just want to be friends, that would be alright with her. Charlie was so easy to talk to, and the fact he knew who she was made it better, she didn't have to hide anything.

"Did I go over board? Sorry I was trying to be nice, your stories were so boring." He responded, as the made it outside her home. "Even if you were boring me to death, I hope you had a good time tonight, I'll catch you around."

"I did, and I don't think you should be calling the girl who save you from a nasty infection noting, next time I might just let you rot." She responded, making him laugh a bit. She but her lip a bit before asking "Can we do this again on Friday?"

Charlie smiled at the girls question and nodded, "I'll be by around 6?" He ask, which for a nod from her, before she enter the building. He didn't know why but he stood there for a while, watching her leave, a small smile on his face.

first off I would like to apologise for this chapter being late, but i haven't been on wattpad for a while, due to the death of a person who meant a lot to me. in saying this the next couple of chapters might be shorter than i would like, or be late in publishing. I am okay, it hard when your not able to say goodbye due to being in lockdown, yes for those who know, i am from Melbs Vic.

second off please dont messgae me TELLING me to update especially the day i had just uploaded the last chapter. (different from the comment on the last chapter, that kind of thing, asking for more chapters and stuff is fine, I don't some in my messages telling me i have to update today, no, i will update when the chapter is ready.)
