15. 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓

You lay in bed while scrolling on Instagram until your phone starts ringing.

"Shin-chan?" you read the name, blush, then decide to answer it.

"Hello?"

"Hello N/n-san, will you be free early in the morning?" Kita asks through the phone.

You blush and feel your stomach fluttering with excitement.

"Y-yeah, I will. Why?" you sit up.

Kita sighs in relief, "I wanted to give you a proper bye tomorrow morning. I'm going to be leaving Tokyo at 9am. So I wanted to..."

Kita takes a gulp, "I wanted to drop by your house at 8am before I leave. If that's okay with you."

Your face is now bright red, 'He wants to say a special bye to me?'

"YES! I-I mean... Ahem, sure. I'll see you tomorrow at 8am."

Kita lets out a little smile, "Alright. I'll see you tomorrow then. Goodnight, N/n-san. I hope you had a fun day today."

You smile on the other side of the phone, "I had a wonderful day spending it with you, Shin-chan. Goodnight."

Once the call ends, you sigh in happiness and plop your back into your mattress. You turn around on your stomach, then squeal in your pillow.

'How can he make me feel all sorts of ways?' you ask yourself and smile.

Suddenly, your phone rings again.

"Hello?"

"F/n-chan, I just emailed you our schedule for the next two months. It's going to be chaotic but if we do everything that's on schedule, you'll be able to retire soon," Mika says.

"Really?" you sigh, "Alright then. I'll take a look at it, Mika. Thank you for informing me."

"Alright. I'll see you tomorrow at the shoot?"

"Yes, goodnight, Mika."

"Goodnight."

You jump out of bed to use your computer. You immediately go to your emails and look at your schedule; it's crowded with a handful of music video shoots, photo shoots, and a handful of concerts. When you see your packed schedule, your happy face is replaced with a frown.

"Looks like I won't be seeing Shin-chan for a while," you sadly say until walking back to your bed to sleep.

"Where are you going, Kita-san? Aren't we leaving at 9?" Osamu sees the older one putting on his shoes.

"I'm planning to buy some bakery before leaving. I'll come back before then, Osamu," Kita answers, leaving out the part that he was also going to visit you before he leaves.

Osamu nods approvingly like the fatty he is, "You do that."

Kita just smirks and leaves. He then drives to buy bakery like he promised, then drives to your house. Once he gets there, he takes out some of the bakery he bought and knocks on your door.

"Good morning, Shin-chan! Come in," you give a smile behind your mask and open the door for him to enter.

"Good morning, N/n-san. I bought some bakeries for our trip back," Kita says as he walks in, "you can choose some you want."

"Are you sure, Shin-chan? I already know that Osamu-kun can eat all of it if he wants to," you joke.

"You're not wrong, but it's not healthy for him to do that anyway. So I insist you take some," Kita gives you a small smile which causes you to blush a bit as you take off your mask.

"If you insist, then thank you," you almost whisper while your heart flutters.

'Such a gentleman.'

You both sit in the living room once you take your bakeries. As you both are reaching for a pastry you guys decided to share that's sitting on the little coffee table, your hands both touch.

"A-ah, I'm sorry! You can take the first bite," you immediately blush.

Kita shyly shakes his head, "No. I'm the one who bought it to share. You can have it first."

"I'm not too hungry, Shin-chan. No worries," you give a reassuring smile until your stomach grumbles.

Kita can't help but give you a smirk as your face turns bright red.

"Don't give me that look! Fine, I'll eat first!" you pout and quickly rip a piece off and start eating out of embarrassment.

He just chuckles then reaches for his share.

"Shin-chan, I don't think I'll be able to see you for a while," you suddenly confess.

Kita gives you a confused look.

"I'm going to be really busy for the next two months and will not be able to travel anywhere unless it has to do with work. If I stick to the schedule, I'll be able to retire sooner than I planned to. It's really exciting and I can't wait, but I'm going to have to sacrifice some things before living a comfortable life without the fame. Of course, for these next two months, I will also learn to appreciate it as well, but..."

You sigh as he listens carefully.

"Even though I won't be able to visit you, I hope we will still be able to stay friends," you confess and look into his eyes.

Kita can't help but feel his whole body warm up. Your face is so genuine and worried as if he were going to just leave you. Kita easily reads you and gives you a small but reassuring smile.

"Don't worry, F/n-san. I will stay as your friend."

This was the first time he used your first name which made you blush.

Kita continues, "Although I'm going to miss your company and... you, I understand. Your hard work and your dreams is what makes you inspiring... It's also the most attractive thing about you, so, of course I will stay your friend."

Kita blushes at what he says as it takes you a couple of seconds until you heat up.

"T-thanks, Shin-chan..."

Kita then looks at his watch that reads, 8:30am.

"It looks like I have to get going," he sadly says as your expression turns sad as well.

You both walk to the door.

"S-shin-chan," you call out as he looks at you, "would you mind if I call or text you sometime during these two months?"

YES, you were the one to make the bold move. If you didn't do anything though, your crush would surely find someone else... Women empowerment; make the bold moves!

Kita's eyes widen for a second then relaxes.

"Of course, N/n-san. Anytime you want," he smiles as you smile back.

"I'll see you later then, Shin-chan. Please drive safely and text me when you reach Hyogo! Um... I'll miss you," you shyly confess.

He slightly so ever, blushes, "Of course, N/n-san. I'll see you later."

He's about to awkwardly walk away until he stops himself. He turns around to you again and places his hand on your head. This action causes your knees to weaken and it feels like you're about to melt any moment now. It's just that pats on the head are the best.

"I'll miss you too," he pats your head.

This leaves you too stun to even function. He then just takes his hand off and gives you a tiny smile before walking off. Once he's in his car is when you finally snap out of your shock and you wave to him until his car disappears; the entire time your heart pounds like crazy against your chest and your cheeks are so hot.

'Do I really have a crush on this man?' you ask yourself then walk inside your house as your legs still tremble from the effect of Kita's head pat.
