26. 𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆

It's been about a month of busyness in your idol life. Since you were about to retire at the beginning of next month, your schedule was packed with more concerts, meet and greets, shoots, and interviews. A few days after your camping trip with Kita, you made a video and announced your plans of retiring on social media. The video received a lot of love and support actually, but of course, there were tons of sad fans. Hence, to make it up for them, you made sure to fit a lot of meet and greets in your schedule. This meant no time to see or visit Kita. Although it hurt you both, Kita completely understood your situation and wanted to support you to the fullest. Right now, you were currently doing an interview where your audience asked you the burning questions and it was being aired live.

"F/n-san, before I ask my question, I just wanted to say that I am going to miss you so much and I support how you feel!" a girl in the crowd says into a mic as you smile gratefully.

"Thank you so much! I'm very grateful to hear your guys' kind and supporting words everyday," you answer back.

"Well, before you end your career, I wanted to ask if you are in a relationship or have been in a relationship with anyone during the time you were an idol?" she asks as the crowd cheers and claps in agreement. You just sweat drop.

'How many times have I been asked this?' you think to yourself and your mind drifts off to Kita. "During my time as an idol, I did not date anyone. Not Eita-kun nor Atsumu-san. However, they are great friends and I will make sure to stay in contact with them after retiring." You hear the crowd groan and pout at their ships being destroyed. For some reason though, your heart raced and you decided to speak again. "But... I recently just met a guy--" Your sentence is interrupted with gasp and 'Who?' "I'm not sure if he would like his identity to be revealed, but I would consider myself lucky. He's someone who I am glad I met and waited for. He understands me and sees me as the person beneath all of the flashing lights and makeup. I encourage you all to meet someone who can do the same and... love you for the beauty that's inside and not only out." With that, it only made the crowd grow more curious, but the interview ended shortly after. Watching on his TV screen, he smiles at the words you have said about him.

"I'm the one who's lucky I met you," he says back as he stares at your face with a big smile on it like always.

Later that night

"Hey, I saw your interview," Kita says through facetime as you hesitantly laugh and rub your nape.

"Was I allowed to bring you up?" you ask as he smiles.

"Of course, baby. I don't mind it at all." Everytime he called you, 'baby,' you still became a blushing mess. It was something you could never get over and that was a fact.

"Will you be able to come to the game?" you excitedly ask as Kita gives you a lopsided smile.

"I'm sorry, baby. I won't be able to make it. I tried to get it off, but on that day, Klein-san says it's going to be very busy. I will for sure be off on the days you need help packing though," he apologizes as you shake your head.

"It's understandable, Shin-chan. I mean, I left you for practically a whole month! I don't know how you could do it; I feel so bad!!" you pout as Kita chuckles a bit at your childness.

"No worries. I just feel bad because that'll be your last performance and I won't be able to be there," he looks down at his hands and starts playing with his fingers. Noticing how down he looked, you try to cheer him up.

"Don't worry, Shin-chan! Atsumu-san and Osamu-san will be there! I think some of my old classmates from Karasuno High will be there too! So, it'll be fun and exciting," you say, making him feel a little bit better for a few seconds. He felt jealous due to the fact that all of the guys who literally liked you would be there--Semi, Atsumu, although Osamu didn't like you romantically, he was a fan, and obviously your friends from Karasuno who were guys. He felt like it was bad for him as your boyfriend to not even be there to support you and they would support you instead. Feeling down, Kita didn't feel like talking anymore.
