19. 𝒉𝒚𝒐𝒈𝒐 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒐𝒊

"Why won't he answer his phone?" you irritatingly groan and throw your phone on the hotel bed. Kita has not contacted you for 4 days now and it was worrying you. You have just finished your second day of tour and tomorrow would be Hyogo's concert. With your whole body shaking, you crouch down into a ball. "Is he mad at me or something?" You decide to call him one more time and leaving a voice mail saying how you were sorry if you did anything to hurt him.

Thankfully, you had sent Kita his ticket and an extra ticket to his address. The original plan was for Kita to come early to the concert--4pm--then watch you and the crew set up while catching up. The concert starts at 7pm. However, Kita--who all of a sudden decides to act out of character due to the effect of love--decided to change up the plans a bit. Instead, he gave his VIP lanyard and extra ticket to Osamu. Kita's new plan was to meet Yui at the coffee place at 5pm, grab a snack, then stand in line at 6pm.

'She wouldn't want me to interrupt her time with her boyfriend,' Kita thinks to himself while looking at his old phone. His cracked phone was still at the shop to get fixed.

3:40pm

Every other 5 minutes, you would look at your phone to look at the time. Mikage stares in annoyance at your attitude.

"Can you please stop looking at your phone? Your lover boy will come; no worries!" Mikage rolls his eyes. You sigh and just nod. "Just rest for now. I'll go get you a treat later." Your eyes gleam a little bit.

"Thank you, Mika," you say and smile warmly.

4:50pm

"What's wrong, F/n-chan?" Semi walks up to you as you slouch in your chair.

"He's not coming," you unconsciously answer in a whisper voice.

"He?" Semi questions as you blush and shake your head.

"I-It's nothing!" you defend then go back to sulking. 'Did I do something wrong to make him ignore me and even not come to my concert?'

"L/n-san, we need to do your hair. It's almost time for you to meet up with your VIP audience," your hairstylists announces as you just sigh and nod.

On the other hand...

"Sorry I came a little late, Kakeru-san. How long have you been waiting?" Kita asks as he gets to the cafe at 5:10pm. Yui smiles.

"No worries. I haven't been waiting too long." Lies. She was so excited, she came 30 minutes ago. Kita just nods.

"Have you ordered?"

"Not yet. Let's go?" Yui asks as Kita nods. Now the air was awkward. This was their first time hanging out with each other and seeing each other outside of the field. However, Yui was really excited when she saw Kita's message saying that he'd go with her. She wasn't really expecting him to agree in the end, but this gave her hope. As they are ordering, Mikage just happens to be entering the cafe since it was the closest one to the arena you are performing at. When he walks in, Mika casually waits behind the two until he notices Kita's odd hair color. Mika's eyes squint to get a better look at the man in front of him until it hits him.

'Th-that's.... Hyogo lover boy....' Mikage thinks to himself in shock. Since Mikage was your best friend, you obviously had to tell him about Kita and show him your selfies with Kita. Mikage notices Kita's with another girl--obviously--and frowns. Although you were pretty nice, understanding, and soft, let's just say Mikage wasn't. Once the two are done ordering, Mikage grabs Kita's shoulder harshly and turns him around. Kita is surprised by the sudden contact. "So this is what you're doing, Hyogo lover boy." Kita frowns at Mikage's tone of voice.

"I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean." Kita returns Mikage's harsh tone and gives him his famous poker face. Mikage scoffs.

"Oh right, you don't know who I am." He shrugs. "I'm Mika. Does it ring a bell?" Kita's eyebrows raise and his mouth opens in realization.

"You'r--"

"Save it, Hyogo lover boy--wait, should I even call you that anymore?" Mikage interrupts him then looks over at the confused Yui. "Aww, so this is what you were doing while my poor N/n-chan has been waiting--hopelessly--for you? Downgrade..." Mikage fakes a laugh then gives Kita a death glare. "Don't ever come close to F/n ever again," Mikage whispers to Kita's ear before walking out of the cafe. The counter lady calls out Kita and Yui's orders but Kita's feet are stuck in mud so Yui has to go get their drinks.

"K-Kita-san?" Yui calls out in worry.

"I-I'm sorry, Kakeru-san but... I don't feel like going to the concert anymore," Kita looks down at his feet.

"What's wrong? Are you not feeling well?" Yui asks disappointedly, really looking forward to this date. Kita nods.

"Yeah, I'm feeling sick," Kita says as he just walks out of the cafe without his drink or Yui. He didn't know how to feel. Was he wrong for not meeting up with you? Did he do something wrong? He asked himself these questions while his feet just took him wherever they did until he heard his name being called.

"Kita-san!!" Kita looks up to surprisingly see Osamu. "What are ya doing here? The arena's that way." He points in the opposite direction.

"I don't feel like going anymore," Kita plainly replies, trying to keep his poker face on but is failing. Osamu notices this.

"Did something come up?" Kita just shakes his head. "Then what is it?" Kita just stays silent as the younger boy--who has matured over the years--decides to give his senpai some wisdom. "It seems like whatever you're down about is keeping ya from going to L/n-chan's concert, but if L/n-chan invited you, I think she'd want ya to go. Also, if I remember correctly, ya were starting to become a real big fan of hers. Her singing will probably cheer ya up." Osamu smiles. "So, let's go. If you want, you can even keep the VIP lanyard." Kita is about to shake his head when Osamu just throws it over his head. "Seems like you need it more than me right now. You can meet me up when the concert's gonna start. See ya, Kita-san!" Osamu waves and leaves Kita stunned.
