17. 𝒇𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒌𝒊𝒔𝒔

"A-a kiss?!" you almost scream. The director, cast, and Semi turn their gaze off of the sheet of paper in front of them to look at you. Mikage, specifically, stares in disappointment at your burst. You blush. "I-I'm sorry... I was just surprised." The director sighs.

"Yes, there will be a kiss scene between you and Semi," he bounty replies then continues to go over the plan for the next couple of days.

'I don't want to kiss someone. I've never kissed someone for my career, even if it is Eita,' you think to yourself and frown. Semi sees your expression and puts a hand on your shoulder. You quickly look up.

"Don't worry; I'm pretty sure we can just ask him if we can take that part out," he says with a smile. You give a hesitant smile back.

"I'm not sure if we can do that," you say and sigh.

"No worries, I will ask," he softly says. Once the discussion is over, Semi goes over to the director. You just stare at them talking. The reason why you didn't want to kiss, even if it is for a music video, is because you didn't want your first kiss to be for work. YES, you... the queen... idol... and even goddess to some... has NOT given your first kiss to someone yet. You've had some boyfriends before, but you never kissed them.

"I'm sorry," Semi says, "I wasn't able to convince him, F/n-chan." You give him a lopsided smile.

"It's alright, Eita-kun," you sigh. "At least it'll be with you," you laugh, trying to make a joke out of it. Semi gives a small smile.

"I know this is not how you want your first kiss to be like," he genuinely says.

"It isn't but it'll be fine," you try to reassure him.

Later that night, you were able to facetime Kita again.

"Why do you look so down, N/n-san?" Kita asks, noticing how you weren't as talkative and bubbly as usual.

"What do you mean? I'm fine," you force a laugh. Kita gives you a suspicious look.

"I'm not dumb. I can see you are acting differently. It seems like something's on your mind," he comments. This surprises you but it somewhat makes you happy that he notices when something is bothering you. You smile.

"Work, I guess you can say."

"What happened? I'll listen." You take a deep breath.

"Eita and I are making a music video for our new song, but in this video, he's requiring us to... K-kiss," you uncomfortably tell him. Kita stares in disbelief but quickly tries to hide his shock. He can't help but feel his lips twitching downward.

"What's wrong with kissing, Semi-san? I thought you guys were friends," Kita asks, trying to hide how unhappy he feels.

"It's not that it's because I'm kissing him..." You blush. "It's because I've never... had my first kiss," you confess and look down at your hands, trying to avoid him from seeing your face. 'How embarrassing,' you think to yourself. Kita, on the other hand, is shocked.

'How could someone so beautiful and popular like you never have your first kiss yet?!' he thinks to himself, but his face is emotionless. "Oh..." is all he can spit out. His response doesn't calm you down at all. It takes Kita a while until he finally comes up with what to say. "I-I've never had my first kiss either." You look up in shock.

"Really?" Kita nods in response.

"I understand why you wouldn't want your first kiss to be for work, even if it's a good friend of yours." You just nod and sigh.

"I don't know what to do. Eita-kun already asked the director about it, but he rejected the suggestion," you say as your eyebrows furrow.

"I would tell him again," Kita says bluntly, "My first kiss is important to me and if I want to give it to someone, it has to be out of my own will and with the person I want." Your eyes widen and you can't help but smile.

"I'll do just that then," you say, feeling confident. Once the call ends, Kita can't help but feel something heavy on his chest. It was a disturbing feeling and he knew it had to do with the fact that the first person he was interested in would possibly be kissing someone else.

You take a deep breath and walk towards the director.

"Matsu-san," you call out as he immediately turns to you.

"Hello, L/n-san! Beautiful as ever. Was there something you wanted?" he asks. You sweat.

"I wanted to speak about the kiss scene," you rub your arm, "I'm not very comfortable with kissing Eita-kun."

"Why not? I thought you and Semi-san were good friends? Do you have a boyfriend?" he flat out asks as you blush when Kita comes to your mind. You shake your head trying to get his face out of your head.

"N-no I don't!" you exclaim as your hands come up to defend yourself.

"Then what's the reason? Semi-san asked the same thing yesterday." You take a deep breath and remember your talk with Kita yesterday night.

"I just don't want my first kiss to be for work... It may sound silly to some, but it's something I value and want to experience with the person of my choice without force," you honestly say. Matsu's eyes widen, then he smiles.

"I understand, L/n-san. You could've just told me from the start that you were such a romance! If your fans knew this, they would go crazy," he laughs which makes you blush. He then places a hand on your shoulder, "No worries. I admire you and your youth. You two can just fake it." You bring your hands together.

"T-thank you so much, Matsu-san! Honestly... I'm very thankful and I'm sorry!" you exclaim. Then you walk off to your dressing room thinking about Kita. You can't help but smile. 'This guy is really amazing, isn't he?' you think to yourself then a flash of his lips appear in your head. 'I wonder how kissing him would be like?'

Who else sleeps at 4am and wakes up at 12pm and maybe sometimes 5pm? Aha... 🙂

Omg, so I'm getting into planting and succulents! I named all of my plants after Haikyuu characters and I am so obsessed... It's my new therapy. 🥰 My mom says I shouldn't name the plants after the boys or else I will become attached.... HA, jokes on her because I'm already attached! The thing I'm super scared about is if I kill one of them though... I think I'd cry.... mostly if the first one I kill is Daichi........... haha. 🤭
