25. 𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒈

Since the day Kita asked you to be his girlfriend, let's just say that skinship was something that you both could not keep away from doing.

"Shin-chan," you call out as you lay on his lap. Not removing his eyes from his book, he gives you a 'hmm.' "I'm going to be leaving you in four days... did you want to do something?" Removing his eyes from his book, he looks down at you and removes some strands of hair from your face.

'How can she look so beautiful from every single angle?' he thinks before answering. "I don't know. We can't really do much since you can't freely go outside." Pouting, you push your lips together which makes Kita want to kiss them, but he controls himself.

"What's something we can do that many people won't be present?" you ask out loud as you put a finger on your chin. As Kita is about to answer with an, 'idk,' an idea pops into your head and you sit up. "We can go camping!" you excitedly say. Staring at your sparkly eyes, Kita can't help but smile at how much you looked like a happy puppy who sees bacon.

"Okay, let's go then," he agrees as you both immediately start planning and preparing. For the rest of the day, you both get ready for the big trip tomorrow. It would be your guys' first date outside of staying at home. "Get some rest; we're leaving early tomorrow," he says as you're both laying in his bed together.

"I can't!" you giggle, "I'm too excited!" He just chuckles at how childish you are and leans his face close to yours to rub his nose against your nose.

"Well, I guess it'll be okay since I'll be the one driving," he comments as you realize that he would be needing sleep then.

"Okay, I'll go to sleep then if that'll make you go to sleep," you say as he nods and combs your hair.

"Good girl."

With that, you both fall asleep in each other's arms. The next morning, you both are up at 6am and head out immediately to the campsite that is five hours away.

"What are you doing? Go to sleep," Kita says as he's driving when he sees that you're still awake.

"Well, I just wanted to keep you company," you say as you yawn which causes Kita to shake his head.

"F/n-san, just go to sleep; I know you're tired." Seeing you pout, he surprisingly puts a hand on your thigh even though he usually would never do so--since he's a good citizen and drives with two hands on the wheel. "Don't worry. I appreciate how you want to stay awake with me, but get some rest," he reassuringly says which warms up your heart.

"Fine, but listen to music or something to keep you company." Obediently nodding his head, you easily fall asleep. Throughout the entire drive, you both converse, eat, and sing to your songs--since you're the only real artist he listens to. Once you both finally get there, it's 12pm and you both decide to camp near the lake.

"Wahhh! I haven't been to the lake in so long!" you exclaim as you run towards it.

"F/n-san! We need to unpack!" Kita yells at you before you can dip your feet in the water.

"Can't we play around first before we unpack?" you pout which is always Kita's weakness.

Sighing, he brings out your guys' suitcases.

"Fine, let's change first," he says which brightens your eyes. After individually changing in the car, you come out wearing a cute swimsuit which causes Kita to gawk. "W-what are you wearing?" he asks which causes you to frown.

"A swimsuit... You don't like it?"

It would be your first time wearing a swimsuit to actually impress someone, but it made you disappointed when his reaction wasn't what you expected. The thing is, Kita's reaction was everything you wanted, he was just so good at keeping a straightface.
