Gone Forever?

"What!?" I yelled into the phone.

"Yep. She's supposedly pregnant. Ugh." My dad said into the phone.

"No, we have to be sure. She could be lying. Make sure you get a test done. I can't even believe that she even got pregnant." I said, furiously into the phone.

"I know. I will be sure to get a test done, though." My dad said.

"Alright, well call me if you get any new information. I love you dad." I said into the phone.

"Okay, and I love you too Nick." My dad said before hanging up the phone.

I could't believe that my dad's ex is supposedly pregnant. She's so old. She has to be lying. How is this even possible?

"Nick, what happened?" Wayne asked, coming into the bedroom. I guess he heard me yelling and got worried.

"It's my dad." I replied.

"What happened now?" He asked.

"His ex is supposedly pregnant by his baby." I explained.

"Wait...what?" Wayne asked confused.

"That's exactly what I said." I told Wayne.

"So what is he going to do?" Wayne asked.

"Well, I told him to get a test done just in case she's lying." I explained to Wayne.

"That's true." Wayne said, before his phone started ringing.

"Hello...Yeah...We're fine...Yea I've been thinking about it...Yep...Sure...Alright bye." Wayne ended the conversation.

I ate some chips as I waited for Wayne to get off the phone. "Who was that?" I asked him after he hung up the phone.

"My mom. She wants us to come over for the holidays. I told her that I would ask you. Well, you want to come?" Wayne asked me.

"Sure, It'll be fun as long as Victoria doesn't go back to her glares." I said.

"I think she'll actually be happy. I heard she's getting married. She should be too "in love" to be mean." Wayne laughed.

"Hopefully." I said.

"But, um there's another part to mention." Wayne said nervously.

"What is it?" I said uneasily.

"My mom also asked for Teyana to come." Wayne said lowly, but I had heard every word he said.

I didn't say anything. I didn't know what to say. I didn't care for Teyana, but I knew that she likes Wayne. My man. I didn't need her doing anything that would make me embarrass her in front of Wayne's family.

"Why her?" I asked.

"Because, back in Lousianna she was a pretty close friend of mine. We went to school together, and she would always come over my house. That all ended, though, once I moved to Cali." Wayne explained.

"Oh, okay I guess. I mean I don't care. She can come if she wants." I said. She just better not try to pull any bs.

"Okay. But bae I need to go to the studio for a few hours. I'll be back tonight though." Wayne said, beginning to get ready to leave.

Wayne's POV

I need to finish this feature with Drake in a song he is working on. Once I got to the studio, I was surprised to see Teyana sitting on the couch outside of the booth.

She wore a crop top with really short shorts. I didn't think it was attractive at all. I didn't say anything about it though. It was none of my business.
