"They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for."
― Tom Bodett

. . . . .

People always confuse in recognizing of simplest reaction, even something like being scared or amazement, like if we talk about an amusement park anybody could easily confuse about a mixed emotion of fright and joy. Lucifer could relate to it easily because he still remembered the one time when in college, his friends group tagged him along to a water park, on the mention of park all we can think of is the never ending technically upgraded rides, changing after every generation.

Everybody knew about Lucifer's phobia of mint chocolates, he said that such chocolates could be a nice replacement of tooth paste, but what they didn't know is his scarce love for heights, when Lucifer was forcefully belted up, all ready for the dangerously falling ride named something like Snake flight his lungs shouted in full capacity, and to his dismay all his friends thought that he was enjoying it because they failed to see his pleading eyes protected with the head gear.

At last even during the time when after some months they went through the trip photos, all of them found it amusing that Lucifer enjoyed all the rides happily despite his fear of height, so he has kept it a secret till now that his expressions weren't due to happiness, rather plight for his never ending terrifying end of his flying journey.

Maybe the saying about experience teaches you life is true, because after such incidents no one could fool around with Lucifer that is one of the reasons he knew that for Fatima he was just a trophy boyfriend and how much Samanvitha cared about his little angel.

"I am a father."

The plausible reaction Samanvitha gave to him said it all that she didn't trust him yet with Aaru, she was not shocked at all, as if making girls pregnant was his profession, watching her lips and eyes which were not matching reactions Lucifer so badly wanted to crack a smile but restrained his twitching lips because that would only add petroleum to the already ignited fire on his irresponsibly immature image Samanvitha already has.

So instead he channeled his thoughts to how transparent her emotions were, or he was a double major in reading emotions. Somehow convincing Sooraj or Nora wasn't that difficult, maybe not having their own kid let them understand his approach in a better way, but somewhere out of the blue he was ought to convince of the lady sitting in front of him about his character statistics.

"Congratulations then!"

Although it did not sound fake, but the tone of excitement seemed much strained than her usual cheery voice, it was surprising to himself that how easily he could understand the difference of her tone usage, that felt weird, but the eccentric reaction on her face made him feel more mysterious as if Samanvitha was contemplating her options of either sending Sunita Lyn Willaims or Kalpana Chawla for the next space mission.

"What is wrong Señorita?"

"Nothing . . Ugh..!"

Her head shot up and then down in just a mere second, which made him chuckle understanding she did not want to respond on being called Señorita but unfortunately maybe out of habit she did, making him want to tease her even more.

"I am calling to order."

Her cheeks were half crimson maybe in both embarrassment and anger, which made her divert the conversation to food.

"We will order of my choice."

Samanvitha gave a challenging look to his statement which stated, not even in a million years she is letting it happen and for unknown Lucifer was finding all this so amusing.

"Okay-lets play rock, paper and scissors, whoever win decides the order."

Samanvitha looked petrified with his sudden suggestion, confirming to Lucifer that she has definitely not tried such a strange thing in public, sitting in a mall filled with hundreds of people, that made him more ambitious to make her do it, and for her it felt so embarrassing that sooner her cheeks could be painted with blood.

It was a serious challenge, because here the food was in stake so, eventually Samanvitha agreed for a two out of three game to be fairer in a precise method saying something about her morals, on one side she put the menu in standing position and the other side she put her hand bag, which made her hand being hidden between the two hideous walls.

"Rock, Paper and Scissors!"

Although this game is all depending on luck and fate some where between the lines both of them were determined to win not trusting each others choice of food, what if she likes something like taro root drink, that tastes terrible though.

Their game was running neck to neck, with Lucifer luckily winning the first round having scissors, and fatefully Samanvitha winning the second one, both felt extra pressured of winning the round, suddenly this was feeling like world cup finals, the chattering around them dying mysteriously.

"Rock, Paper and Scissors."

Samanvitha's voice faded in the background when Lucifer erupted up shouting like a wild bear just being shot with a bullet, almost scaring the little precious heart of her, few people around them stared at their table, it was scissor versus paper, making Lucifer lose wildly.

"Ah . . finally, justice prevailed."

Samanvitha spoke up with a satisfied curve made by her lips, while Lucifer couldn't help but enjoy being lost in the moment, because even sexual activities with Fatima wouldn't turn out being this much fun. He could not believe how much he was enjoying the normalcy of life, just laughing with an almost stranger.

This was so much fun, but after fun comes realization, which did come to him also reminding him of Mr Naav's, his boss, the work he gave about meeting some corporation. Not understanding how could he turn such a beautiful moment into a sour second Lucifer called the waiter so that Samanvitha could give in the orders.

Hoping again that she doesn't end up ordering anything mint.

"Two chocolate ice creams, keep it heavily coated with strawberries."

It was a relief for Lucifer, but thinking about the Devil Naav did not turn good because now his Satan of a friend was calling.

"What is it Ronit?"

"I didn't know you were such a celebrity?"

Celebrity, what the hell is he talking about!?!?
