I wish I could pretend I didn't need ya'

As the song was blaring in her earphones, she couldn't help but sing along. Afterall, it is one of her favorites. The 45 minutes journey in the morning from her house till her office, where she is currently pursuing her internship, spent listening to music is probably the most peaceful time of her day.

The hustle and bustle of the corporate world tires her too much to even appreciate her solitude.

She got down as she reached her stop. Walking for about 15 minutes, she reached her destination. Looking forward she saw a 12-floored corporate firm, INNOVATIONS PVT. LTD.

One of the best architecture firms in the country, Innovations was established in 1982. Its owner Mr. Rajeev Mehra and also the founder of the group strived hard to bring it to the position it currently is in. His son, Mr. Sanjeev Mehra, the current CEO, only furthered his father's efforts by opening various branches through out the country. One such branch, is in Hyderabad, where Samanvitha is working.

Working for this firm has been Samanvitha's dream job. The day she joined in the Architecture course, she promised to herself that she would earn a job here. And now, she has come so close to attaining her dreams. Though just an internship right now, she resolved to get a job here.

Entering inside the firm, she headed to seventh floor, where her workstation is. Just as she came in, she was amazed to see the ruckus in her floor opposed to the normal silent environment. Swiftly reaching her cubicle, she deposits her bag and turns to the adjacent cubicle to ask her friend, Renuka, about it.

Renuka is that type of friend in the group who can get hold of any type of gossip around the office. She is the know-it-all of the office starting from anything to everything.

"What's the ruckus about Renu?"

"Oh! You don't know? Where have you been living Sam?"

"Oh, nowhere. I just went to the moon last night and came to earth today morning. You don't know?"

"Oh, stop joking Sam." she grumbles.

"Fine. Fine. Tell me what's happening around?"

"You know, Mr. Viraj Mehra, the CEO's son is coming to our office today. Everyone is getting ready to greet him."

"Ooooh" saying so Samanvitha turns towards her cubicle eager to get done with her current assignment.

After two hours of tedious work, she finished drafting the construction plan for a shopping complex that is to be built in the next 2-3 years in the city. Satisfied with her work, she heads towards Mr. Kamal's office, the lead architect to whom she is currently reporting.
