I'm guilty of giving people more chances than they deserve but when I'm done, I'm done.

Samanvitha had no words to describe of what she was feeling right now,in the first place she didn't want to come to the temple it's not like she is against religious visits or something,it was just that Mr Kamal, her boss had arranged a meeting with Viraj the CEO in line of the company for considering her project in the urban development program.

So all she wanted to do was complete the presentation for the meeting and improvise her convincing skills, because for days now she has been stalking the pictures of Viraj on Instagram and Google. This is all the fault of Renuka because she collects all the non existing gossips about him and discusses with Samanvitha, leading to this massive work crush on Viraj Mehra.

Although it must be appreciated he is such a handsome man both in the photos and in real, because she got the lucky chance to meet him that day in the office at the board room.

Her parents insisted on accompanying them to the temple because they believe today the youth think it's a great thing to become an atheist, not believing the existence of an upper source of communication. Wanting their daughter to be a strong believer in God,that wasn't enough in the platter that Nora called in for a day off with Aaradhna as she and Sooraj both had to attend some brunch party with some important clients.

It's not like she doesn't like Aaradhna around, the girl is the apple of everybody's eye but she wanted to improvise her presentation. It was a jubilant chance for her career.

Watching Aaradhna dressed up in such a cute traditional outfit gave her the inspiration to join her parents for the visit to the temple, tagging her little angel along, sometimes it felt like Aaradhna lived more with her than the Dhoopdar family. But definitely that was an understatement because both Nora and Sooraj loved their baby like crazy, she had witnessed it on so many occasions.

So, here she was watching Mr Brandy oust the evil eye upon her little angel. They looked so cute together as Aaradhna tried pronouncing the word hypnotising and Lucifer went to distribute the money in the beggars sitting beside the temple wall with Aaradhna still in his arms.

Samanvitha was quite faxed to actually find Aaradhna being okay around Lucifer, because most of the times she was the shy baby who needed an ice breaking event.

After her last stunt warning at the mall Lucifer didn't contact her anymore, but it seems he did meet Aaradhna twice or thrice when he came to talk to Sooraj.

Aaradhna seemed to be much at ease around him and it felt like they shared some unnamed Bond of connection.

"Sammy di he is my bad boy new boy friend."
Aaradhna explained with little pauses in her statements smiling cheekily at Lucifer which he returned back.

Samanvitha then understood that it was Lucifer about whom Aaradhna was ranting all this week referring as the bad boy, and now when she even mentioned boy friend it felt so weird to listen from an innocent angel.

"Who is teaching you all these words Aaru?"
Samanvitha asked sternly settling her knees on the ground to talk inn eye level with the little girl.

"What words Sammy di?"

"Boyfriend."
Samanvitha stared at Lucifer receiving a mild smirk from him.

"He is a boy and now my friend."
The little girl gave the simplest explanation, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"You know Sammy di he even promised me to play doll house with me and then take me to meet Doraemon, he also said that he will grow my hair like Rapunzel.."
Aaradhna paused coughing lightly,as Lucifer bend down making her drink the water in the little brass pot from the puja plate.

"Hey, are you okay Aaru?"
Samanvitha asked slightly patting her back,as Lucifer stared at the little girl with the concentration as if his life depended on her answer.

"I am okay Sammy di. Let me continue he even..."

"Tell me all that on the way back, now let's go."
Samanvitha got up holding her hand and turned around in search of her parents.

"Promise?"

"Yes my baby. Now come."
Samanvitha was held back when little Aaradhna didn't budge.

"Tie a knot Sammy di."

Samanvitha felt so stupid at the moment because once Nora explained Aaradhna not to believe all the promises people make, and believe it only when they tie a knot with their dress or anything. She had said that because Aaradhna was being so persistent about watching the next movie of Rio instead of going to bed,so to divert her mind Nora made up this stupid knot promise thing.

"Are you not coming bad boy friend?"

Samanvitha chuckled listening the name trying to the tie a knot with one hand holding the puja plate with the other hand.

"No Aaradhna."

Very cutely Aaradhna rolled her eyes on the answer received from Lucifer and concentrating back on her knot promise with Sammy di.

"Oh! You are a real bad boyfriend, can't you hold the plate for my Sammy di?"
Aaradhna scolded and ordered both at the same time in one sentence.

Samanvitha watched Lucifer as he leapt into complying the ordered task after coming out from a mild shock. That felt so amusing seeing him following orders of a little girl whom he didn't have any relation with. Or does he have?

Connecting all the dots Samanvitha was now curious about why was Lucifer Brandt so much interested in befriending Aaradhna?
Why did he care so much about her wishes?

Samanvitha knew Aaradhna was an adopted child, they took her when she was a six months baby or something but why did this man enter into the picture after four years?

Was he a blood relation?
Is he her biological father?

Tying the knot she promised herself that she will get all the answers of her question, but for that she needed to be on a coexisting frame with him.

What she only needed was a chance.
