um i think i was the one who initially brought up the conversation but in the end we both felt the same way and agreed to break up i say looking at jack

umm at the time no i think we still would have broken up just because again my job also made a huge impact but you know maybe if lav wasnt born i think yeah now that my carrer has chilled out a little bit and i have figured out how to handle everything im a little more "adult" now haha and um yeah i would give it another shot but lav is here and i love her with my whole heart.  jack says

umm i dont know because i cant tell you what the future holds but i do care for jack very much so im not completely shutting out the idea i respond

couldnt have said better myself jack smiles. i think my love for y/n is so strong that i just want her in my life one way or another jack smiles

yes i-i mean at least i do. we were together for about a year and we were in love with each other so those feelings never really go away jack says smiling at the camera is award winning innocent smile

i just smile at myself before answering

its kind of just that everything happens for a reason you know? ive had a lot of shit happen in my life so i have learned to live by that because its so true. i love jack in a sense that i want whats best for him but yes you could say those feelings are definitely still there. but im just trusting the process and if me and jack can work it all out great but if not it was just not ment to be, not in this life. but we will always be good friends i say and jack leans in and gives me a hug winning some awess from my two helpers behind the camera.

i feel my face heat up and tears forming in my eyes and one falls and as we pull away jack quickly wipes it away hugging me again which causes me to cry a little harder

guys give us a minute? jack says and i hear the boys get up and leave

why are you sad? jack asks as we pull away

i dont know everything i said is true i do trust the process and believe the world will tell us if this is right or wrong but im just so sad because i think i know its going to tell us its just not our time i say wiping my tears.

i know y/n it breaks my heart too because i am so in love with you but you have to understand that if we were together you would feel so alone just from how busy i am with work and a kid and im just not going to put you through that because you deserve so so much more jack says
