day - january 26th
"what?" my hand stopped inches away from the bathroom handle. i looked at him with a huge smile on his face. "i knew it," he says as a response. "you look very happy."
still rocking his legs back and forth from the chair, he gave me a huge grin. he seems to know a lot, more than a lot. he's a smart kid. "how do you manage to know everything, joonwoo?"
"i'm four. i'm a big boy." i chuckled at his answer. he began chomping down on his sandwich with the jam sticking on his cheeks and his mouth. "if you're a big boy, then why are you making a mess while eating?"
he stops and looks at me in shock. "i'm just- i was hungry."
"well okay then big boy. do you want to help mommy with your daddy's birthday cake?"
he sets his sandwich down and raised both of his hands. "yeah!"
